The one end did not fit the old exit vent. It was the exact same size. We crimped and clamped it but it continued to come apart. Thank goodness for duct tape!. The, supposedly "heavy duty" metal elbows came apart effortlessly! None of them would hold with the clamp. They all came apart as soon as we tried to move the dryer back in to place. Ended up using metal screws and duct tape to hold it in place. Terribly frustrating and dissatisfied with this product.

Ducting tears easily

I bought this thinking it would be more durable and lasting than the cheaper setups. The angled bends fall apart with almost zero force and without the bends, the more rigid hose is more difficult to put in place. Complete waste of money.

I bought the kit & vent hood. The aluminum tube didn't fit into the vent hood even though it came with the hood. I had to really force it. Finally got it to fit. The tube didn't extend to full length no matter how much we tried. Didn't fit on my dryer exhaust, didn't fit on the tube. Definitely took more than 15 minutes & multiple tries. Now still no dryer, back to the store. Perhaps if brand new dryer & construction in an upstairs laundry room it may work as easily as in the video. Totally frustrated with this product.

Easy to install and made out of good quality

The cover is well built. The inner pipe could be heavier but it worked fine.

90 degrees broke apart upon simple installation. Cheap.

Don’t waste your money on this garbage product that falls apart with barley any movement. Tried to slide my dryer back in place and this trash came apart. Save your hard earned money this is garbage. Guess I don’t need a dryer tonight 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️

Joints came apart when trying to install. Seems very cheaply made. Not sure how i return now thats it’s ruined

Easy installation and strong pipe

90 degree bend popped off as soon as I tried to attach it to the dryer. I cut the end off and attached the end to the dryer. Hose is sturdy but elbows are garbage.

I ordered this dryer vent hook-up kit with high hopes. The kit looks good when you open the box, and I thought it was just what I needed to replace an old kit that finally gave up when I had to pull the dryer out one last time. The individual components seem to be of sturdy construction and capable of years of service. However, after connecting the transition elbow to the dryer, I--very carefully--extended and shaped the stiff flex-pipe to mate it to the wall exhaust outlet. In the process the elbow attached to the dryer easily tore loose from the flex-pipe. The pop rivets simply tore out of the pipe. Luckily, I had an extra elbow and screw-on straps from the previous set-up, so I was able to strap the old elbow to the flex-vent pipe and complete the job being careful to not put any pressure whatsoever on the other elbow. I knew to be careful of the connections, and acted accordingly. I was moving it and shaping it with what I thought was due care, but it took no stress whatsoever in my opinion. If this seems to serve your needs, please shape it completely end to end before you attempt to attach the strap connections. The elbows are only tacked on the flex-pipe. I give two stars for the components being of reasonable quality, but the way the mfg. attaches the components disrespects how it is most commonly to be used.

It connected easily and stayed connected. No complaints.

The duct work struggled to extend the full 8ft quoted.

It fell apart when installing. In the end I only ended up with an expandable vent. The elbows were worthless and the expandable portion tore when any lateral pressure was applied. I do not recommend this item.
