The screws are great. No flaws, sturdy, even, etc. What I really love (kind of off-subject) is that the exact right package of the exact right screws were suggested when I was adding the shelves to my cart online. Saved me probably a few minutes and perhaps a bit of a headache. Thanks, Home Depot!

Finishes Peel off Way Too Easy. I have always been wondering how they do it. Why the white finish does not peel off the screws? Now I have my answer: it does! The screws peeled even when I drove them into soft pinewood shelves with predrilled holes, never mind studs. When some time ago I needed white screws for some other project, I sprayed regular screws with cheap white paint bought in HD and drove all 20 into studs without leaving even a scratch on the heads. I wish I did the same this time.

Head diameter is much smaller than other pan heads. This small head will not hold a bracket securely if the hole size in the bracket is not very small.
