Bought these instead of rivets for simplicity. They work but I would buy the rivets next time. The size of the hex head is inconsistent with the white paint and is all marred up after installation. I had better luck utilizing the phillips head.

I love these screws for not only new work, but to replace rusting screws on gutters, downspouts, and flashing. They match the white trim and will never rust and run down the white trim. I have used them for a long time and replaced virtually all of the rusting screws on our house trim in Florida, where nothing escapes the humidity. They are easy to install with a small drilled hole, or if you are careful, they are sharp enough to go right through aluminum or vinyl. Even though they can be installed with a Phillips screwdriver, it is best if you use a ¼” nut driver. This is a great buy and a great product.

These screws worked ok. I found that the heads easily stripped out when using with a drill driver, so be aware of that. Other than that, they did the job. They are screws used for fastening, nothing complex about this product.
