The spring is a little stiffer than I would like...
The spring is a little stiffer than I would like and the point where it "switches" from spring close to spring open while opening or closing is very sloppy. It's not a very smooth operation. I do like that it works with partial inset overlay cabinets as a lot of standard European hinges will not.

Wouldn't recommend it my project. I have a cabinet I built from 1" reclaimed wood. The 1" board was too thick to allow the hinge to either open all the way. Or after I reset it, allow it to close all the way. However, thinner doors would probably work fine.
