This tool did exactly what it was designed to do. I was able to fix my creaky stairs that I have been living with before getting the carpet replaced. Now, no more squeaks!!

Helped with numerous spots in second floor hallway. Ran out of nails, need a few my to complete. Will do so soon

Before you buy have a good idea of where your joists are, after that it’s very easy to use and it works so well. I am very satisfied with this product!

The joist finder and the jig to hold the screw are great. We eliminated all the floor sqeeks in our home in about an hour. Key thing is to ensure you have a good reference to properly locate subsequent joists. Highly recommended even for the tentative home repair person

Easy to use but didn't fix the squeaky floor but it was worth a shot. Most of the time it not the flooring. In my case it was the floor joist. I still like the cleverness of this product.

The plastic part/leg snapped off when I was trying to break off the head of the screw.

Wasn’t capable of solving my floor issues. Waste of time & money.

It does its job--but you need to use a stud finder, and my floor still squeaks but its better than before

This tool worked pretty well. I had several squeaky stairs to repair. I was able to take the squeak out of most of them. There is still some noise but not nearly as much as before. The only problem was that I had a hard time breaking the screw off, couldn't do it using the drill only. I had to back the screw out and use the floor tool to break the screw. Other than that it worked fine.

Exactly what this creaky old house needed. With a stud finder you can shut up your floors in no time.

Put about 60-70 screws in the subfloor in 2 areas. Still hear squeaks in both and I'm sure we hit joists. Also many of the screws broke off with 1/4" sticking above the subfloor which you could feel when walking over the carpet. I think 1 star is being generous.

Product worked as advertised. Used on carpeted and hardwood surfaces. However, some areas could not be totally fixed, so don’t get your expectations too high.

I tried this product multiple times in different rooms of our house and it did not eliminate any of the squeaks. I had high expectations and was let down.

This couldn’t have been easier and the results look great!

I was a little bit on the fence after reading some reviews where it said it wouldnt do the trick, but I decided for $20 i could give it a try and see before i went into more expensive solutions. I had this nasty squeek here this past winter from the ultra dry air and it drove me insane, with 2 screws in the hardwood floor and 3 on the carpet upstairs the problem is completely gone. it definitely helps having some measurements of where studs are about as stud finders dont work too well over hardwood floors especially. the screws snap very nicely and leaving barely any marks. with a bit of plaster wood on the hardwood floor to fill the very small hole it is barely noticable. on the carpet they snap deep under the carpet and you wont feel them. so a misfire on the carpet (hence had to use 3) isnt a biggy. glad i tried it, was worth the few bucks and getting rid of that nasty squeek!
