Screws broke while installing in pre-drilled holes.

The rubber element is a dark brown instead of the light color shown in the picture. Hence, disappointed as the earlier one we have, has the lighter color.

to replace the rubber base look online. You can buy bags of them cheap.

Not for hollow core doors. The screws will tear free after a week. For hollow core buy 2 3/4" bolts to hold the stopper firm.

Bought 4 of these for our front doors at church. Installed them three days ago. Three of them are OK but one won't stay in the up position and I am returning it for replacement. At $17.28 apiece for these, I expected better quality for 'Commercial Grade'.

Door stop is nice but it was missing a screw. Only three screws and 4 holes

Hold door ok, but slides if presure is added

This stop was installed on a metal door to an office. The door gets propped open about once daily. This is my second stop of this exact item. The first only lasted a month before it would not stay in the up position. I just would not consider it “commercial” other than looks.

Strong door stop, measure for placement, convenient, especially important for industry.

Better than the contractor installed one we got with the house....

Could be a heavier construction but does designed task.

The part looks great and serves the purpose. The only thing I didn't like is the way the piece moves up and down, it's free floating. The units I am replacing have positioning. The other thing is the part really doesn't fail, the rubber stopper either wears out or falls out (it is held in with a machine screw) and that's what needs to be replaced not the whole assy.

Good look. Great for high traffic areas of commercial grade jobs.

We have hardwood floors and the tip slips. With our mat it will hold the door but will still slide a bit. To be fair, we use it on our fire door to the garage with a heavy self-closing mechanism.

The door stop itself seems to be pretty good. However, 2 of the 4 screw broke almost as soon as they took hold. The directions call for a 3/32 hole. After the 2nd break I went to a 1/4 bit, which is almost too large for the screw to hold tight. The directions also called for holes to be drilled at 4-5/8" above the floor. This seems to be just slightly too high.

Bought these for our Church doors easy to install they work excellent. Had to buy self tapping screws for the metal doors but that was ok. Heavy duty well built

Easy to install, holds on to a heavy duty door.

I would rate it higher if you were able to buy new rubber replacement feet. The rubber gets hard and then its useless.

Door was probably to heavy for the door closer.
