Poor instructions.

This was a replacement part and works great. I didnt realize I had to take the tank off to replace which was more than I expected. If you have the time this is an inexpensive solution.

Made very cheap. Snapped when I tried to adjust it. Had to use parts from an old toilet.

Really easy to replace and works perfectly, Replacing the bottom large Black seal is a must which does not come with the kit

Flush valve worked great but it didn’t come with the tank to toilet seal, and you didn’t tell me I should probably replace them when removing the tank. Also a tank to toilet seal for the fill valve should have been mentioned. Just sayin’.

I bought this product to replace a leaking Mansfield Flush Valve, and it did the trick in spades. I did not even replace the full assembly, I only used the top flap and the rubber seal and it fixed the problem in 5 minutes. Thankfully because I’m not confident in my plumbing skills at all.

Installed easily and is working as it should.

This flush valve was easy to install. I needed to retain the original rounded shape nut and use it instead of the hex shape nut that came with this unit. After I finished the install, I noticed that the flushing action was different that the toilet in my other bathroom. The replacement uses a lot more water per flush and does not allow for a half flush like my other Mansfield toilet. Upon inspection, I noticed that the shape of the movable part (outer cylinder) of the flush valve were different between the 2 toilets. After some research on the web, I found out that my original flush valve was a model 211 which is almost the same as this model except for the movable part. I resolved the situation by using the original movable part instead of the new one that comes with the replacement. It fits compatibly and now I have the dual flush and 1.6 gal per flush that I had originally.

Because the Flush Valve required the tank be drained & pulled from the bowl we wound up hiring a plumber to to the repair. but the valve works fine.
