Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase. The balance between peak lumens, 2700K color temp, and 90+ CRI met my requirements for a fixture over our dining room table. Dimming is smooth and flicker-free. Although maximum dimming is acceptable, I would have preferred it to go lower –– this is my reason for deducting one star.

Replacement for one that quit working

Part of transitioning over to new technology. I like "soft white" because the other LED brightnesses hurt my eyes. 11watt better than 75.

Great clarity and color for outside porch light.

These bulbs provide strong illumination (lumens), but I find the 5000K color to be too much daylight for my house. My mistake! Would be fine for something like a garage, or if you really prefer that white (daylight) type light.

Bright and good fit for lighting my condo.

I like the color of the bulbs, and they seem to be very sturdy. I replaced all the bulbs in my basement, garage, and house (where applicable), and the change is much appreciated. I had 6500K bulbs in many of those locations, and replaced with there 5000K (wish they were 5500K). However, one bulb is permanently dim, so unusable. 2 bulbs have come on at least once each dim, but turning off/on seemed to "reset" them, and now they come on full. This is all in 6 months.

Expected white light and these have a yellow tint.

Only purchase if you’re looking for an ultra bright bulb. These bulbs are amazing. I love them and all my guest want sunglasses when they go into any of the bathrooms that I have them in.

A really well-designed and well-manufactured product. The plastic globe (instead of glass) is a great idea and more durable than a glass globe. (I dropped it five feet to the floor with no damage, and it seems lighter than glass.) While the globe diameter for the 100-watt bulb is larger than the 60 watt and 40 watt bulb, it still fits easily in my 1963 recessed ceiling lamps. And it uses only 17.5 watts!

I was looking for 5000K led lights and couldn't find any that showed that "color." There was a large number of Feit bulbs on the shelves, but there was no clear indication of their "color." An employee wasn't able to help. I went ahead and bought six bulbs, took them home, and installed one in place of a bulb that had burned out in our bathroom light fixture. It was immediately obvious that the yellowish color of the new bulb did not match the other 5000K bulbs. The next day, my wife found that we had a Feit bulb that I saw matched the other three bulbs in the light fixture. I immediately noticed that the box that bulb came in had a small blue box printed on the outside, along with the Feit name and other information. Upon comparing its container with the "warm" bulbs I bought, I saw that the "warm" bulb's container had a red box on the outside. I could now see that the color of that box was the only indication of which bulbs were "warm" versus "cool" in color. It was frustrating to find that Feit doesn't clearly mark the color temperature of its bulbs.

Exactly what I wanted. Hard part was finding it among 50 other types with new wording about lumens, wattage equivalent, dimming etc. Actually would have been nice to just buy one but I got a spare I might use in 22 years.
