To ensure a clean cut it is best to use a high tooth count miter saw blade letting the saw come to full speed prior to coming in contact with the material. An example of such blade is 32-40 tooth, carbide tip finish blade. If you need assistance during installation of a Fiberon product in the future please reach out to us as we are glad to assist.

Traditionally rail kits are sold separate from post kits as some elect to use rail kits with existing posts and/or mix colors. This kit does include everything needed to make a rail section including rails, balusters, brackets and hardware.

The balusters provided in the line kits are not interchangeable with the stair kits as the receiving routings differ to accommodate balusters fitting at an angle into the stair rails This may not have been your exact situation but it is common when mixing kits is mentioned. We hope this helps with any/all future installations.

The core is composite with a PVC cap layer that is fusion bonded. Therefore there are no organics in the surface of the material. We are happy you were pleased with the product. Thank you for being a Fiberon customer.
