Pretty but a little messy at times
Michelangelo Calacatta tile is beautiful installed on wall and floor; however, it is hard to keep clean.

We appreciate your review. Porcelain tile is one of the most durable and maintenance friendly surfaces you can choose. Michelangelo Calacatta happens to be a white marble look. Any white flooring surface may show dirt more readily. Much like a white car. With proper care & minimum maintenance, it will retain its original beauty and luster for many years. Generally, all that is necessary to keep your tile looking as good as new is a quick wipe with a clean damp cloth or mop. Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dirt and gritty particles. For further cleaning use a mop or sponge dampened with a neutral pH cleaner. For glazed porcelain tile it is best to use a cleaner that is pH Neutral such as Miracle or Aquamix. The Home Depot carries both of these tile cleaners. After applying cleaner be sure the surface is rinsed thoroughly with clean water and dried. The pattern on the tile was subtle which is exactly what I wanted while the finish is a nice matte. The application was for a tub conversion to shower-a nice big area. Since there is no natural light in the bathroom, a brighter tile was important. It will compliment well with the bathroom floor which has a very busy pattern. I would recommend this for either a shower wall, accent for a shower wall and even floor.

The tile is as described. It is a beautiful tile, but I got a bad batch. Couple of problems, majority of the tiles have a white spot on them, some have multiple. Some spots are raised and can be felt. Other tiles have black dots on them, but they blend in due to veins on tile, however, these too are raised and sharp (planning to get these installed closer to ceiling to reduce risk of injury). Ordered a second batch to replace the white spotted ones, but had shipping issues. Take away the shipping nightmare, this is a wonderful product. It is not installed yet, so cannot comment on ease of installation.
