Customer Reviews for Fluidmaster Replacement 3 in. Dual Flush Valve for 1-Piece Toilets

Bought Glacier Bay N2420 toilet that had this dual flush valve installed and after 6 months, it leaks a refills the toilet every 30-45 minutes throughout the night waking me up! Found this replacement, sure its cheap, but why keep on buying this every few months?? My 15 year old Glacier Bay basic toilet only had its flapper valve replace twice! So, this is my fix to this bad design. Make the seal smaller by cutting 1/8" off the outside and pick up a 1/16" rubber gasket sheet from auto parts store and cut out the same seal and put it between the plastic disc and the white seal. This stopped the leak because the white seal expands over time from use and stops on the water directing channels. Also the white rubber seal develops the seal groove from use and since the arm is at its limit, the seal cant seal and leaks.

My toilet was leaking but after replacing the old valve with this replacement valve my toilet is good as new.

The package was opened when it arrived and was either refurbished or restocked. Regardless, this "new" one leaked as well. The product might work, HD is not a supplier I trust, but they are the only supplier for this part in my area

First ordered was lost.... delivery indicated it arrived at store... never notified, went by store... could not locate it... ordered another one... came in few days later, no problem.... item itself was excellent and installed easily

What can you say about a replacement part, other than it was a perfect fit and an easy install. This replaced the original Dual Flush Valve which was also a Fluidmaster.

Terrific piece of work. Solved my leaking toilet problem immediately and it was so easy to replace with no tools needed that even a 62 year old like me with no knowledge was able to do it in a couple of minutes. Highly recommended.

Service at store not so good.

This assembly was a direct replacement for model originally installed in my model of Glacier Bay toilet. It installed easily with only minor adjustments needed, and so far has had no problems. Original unit installed become a leaker over time. We’ll have to see with its replacement. Based upon the unit removed, the original and the replacement were made by the same company.
