This is outstanding for dual flush systems. The best part is if you give it 1/4 turn at the top the unit will come out the base stays fastened to the toilet. The new unit will go right in and you just turn it 1/4 turn to the right And you’re good to go.

Product quality
I did a bathroom upgrade a year ago and bought a new 🚽 along with this system. A year after, my master bathroom toilet started leaking water for several days. It took me a while to figure out where the noise was coming from, very annoying and bad quality. I replaced it with a whole new unit and now my guest bathroom toilet 🚽 started to leak. This part is out of order online and in stores and now clueless what to do. My previous one worked for 7 plus years without any issue unlike this one.

Super easy installation, stopped the annoying and expensive running between use. I had replaced the silicone gasket in old unit to no effect. This item fits the one piece toilet, the two piece with separate tank and bowl take a different one.

Easy solution to seeping seal
My old unit was leaking from the tank into the drainage pipe. The new unit came with a new seal, was easy to install, and solved the problem. Would have been nice, if I could have just gotten a new seal. but could not find one.

What's not in the Box?
Replacement valve came in a plain white cardboard box with no markings on it. Inside the box, I found a device that appeared similar to valve I was trying to replace. What the box did not contain was any instructions on how to pull out the old valve or install the new one. Thank you U-tube for having a video that showed me what to do. Once I viewed the video, installation was quite easy. That being said, toilet still suffers from same problem previous valve had; it flushes several times per day without being asked to. I have shortened the plungers by a little over 1/8" thinking that may solve the problem. We will see. R

Fluidmaster valve
This valve works/fits as it was used to replace an older leaking valve however it is very noisy. The way the water flows though it adds alot of decibles compared to my old one and other toilets.

The sound may be due to the result of having a high adjustment where the piston is staying open longer allowing more water to leave the tank. If you have adjusted it to the max then we recommend to dial it down so that the piston closes sooner and doesn't allow as much water to rush out of the tank as much. You may also want to check the fill valve isn't the reason for the loud refill sound. Shutting off the water to the toilet for projects and turning back on can add debris and can cause a difference in sound.
