The PVC material is very good and the finish is smooth and shiny. Unfortunately, there were noticable scratches on them and the ends are not finished smoothly. Also the rods were slightly warped as well. I have bought these before and each time there seem to be scratches on them.The sections that weren't warped or scratched met my expectations.

It’s a great product, the color don’t fade or scratch. It’s very strong pvc pipe. Worked great for my red, white, and blue flag pole used for camping.
