Used to seal my driveway.
We live in a mountainous snowy area, so protecting our driveway was important. We used this product. It worked. As a bonus, they provided a $10 refund for submitting a review - think of it as a a $10 discount to make the pricing more inline with other options! Score!

    Water Beads!
We put this down a couple months ago and it PERFORMS! Keeps the water beaded and off of our concrete beautifully. I've never seen anything like it, it's like wax for concrete. You can't tell it's there and it doesn't change the color, but it works great.

      Sealed My Own Driveway
After waiting 30 days for my 550 sq. ft. broom-finished new driveway to cure, The hard part was trying to pour from the 5G container into my pump sprayer. Hard to tell if I had applied enough. Here are photos showing some beading.

        Great Product
Sealant was easy to apply and work work with. Coverage was even and dry time was shown in the instructions. I sprayed mine on using a Dewalt sprayer which worked well. Cleanup with soap and warm water was simple and effective.

          DESIGNER UNDERWEAR
There is absolutely no noticeable difference in terms of appearance. But I think the repellent effect might be working. I followed the directions to the last word, but I am not satisfied because I was expecting at least a slight glow. I think this product is like wearing expensive underwear only you and your significant other know you are wearing a $250 underwear and nobody else notices.

            Flag stone
Hawaii has wet issues common to our area. Tried different products but failed to seal for more than 3 months. Got the recommendation of Foundation Armor from a mason friend on the mainland. His years of use and results sold me. The application was easy, followed 24 hours of no moister to let it set and one year later so far it looks like when we first applied. Wow. Nothing better.

              Does not repel water
Unfortunately, my experience wasn't nearly as good. I called foundation armor explained my project and they recommended sx5000 to protect from freeze thaws of winter and ar350 for the wet look on my pavers. Applied SX5000 per instruction which darkened pavers slightly which was fine however there was no water beading up on the surface. Contact foundation armor and they told me don't worry about it just apply the ar350 and you will get the beading of water and protection you desire. So I applied the ar350 next. Two coats per the instructions. Went on well and seemed to bring out the true color of the pavers like I wanted. Then it rained about 36 hours later on and off for over a week. Once the patio started to dry out I could see white spots in the lower lying areas of the pavers where the rain was able to sit for extended periods of time. I called foundation armor and they stated they wanted pictures so they could see. I provided pictures. They asked all the usual questions about how product was installed trying to find an error with my installation. Nothing there for them. So they then claim the chemistry in the pavers attacked the sealer rendering it no good without even doing any tests to come to this conclusion on my job site. They said the pavers were sealed to soon after installation. I explained my entire job to them while I was on the phone with them first time before ordering their product. We went over the product I was using "Cambridge" and that it was a newly constructed patio. Another issue with their theory is the fact that under over hangs and my porch there is no white spots from the water. I can wet it and the surface looks fine. I believe the time allotment for rain to follow installation is too short. It appears there is moisture inclusion in my paver sealer which will cost me over 5-6000 to repair. No help from foundation armor.Example: the drill was really easy to assemble, lightweight and not noisy. I am really pleased with the battery life and was able to use the drill without charging for over an hour of heavy duty use...

              Cannot recommend, caused property damage
I applied this product as-recommended by the manufacturer. I live in Colorado, so it is dry, and had been dry for several days before I applied the product. I cleaned my driveway 48 hours before applying the SX5000. I did not apply to excess, I used the roll-on method. In another, test area, I used a light spray-on method. What you will see, in the images, is the negative effect caused by this product (staining). There is a change that this product can cause harm to your concrete - I've lived it. Be careful applying, and consider using a pro.

Great product for our stamped concrete walkway
We have tried various products for our stamped concrete walkway, and while they look good for a while, it seems that just cleaning was just not worth the effort. We tried the Penetrating Clear Concrete and Masonry Water Repellent Sealer with Salt Guard and were very pleased; right after cleaning the surfaces, we used the SX5000, until it ran out. the difference between the treated and untreated area is amazing. I took some photos, but they don't do it justice! There is a wonderful sheen on the treated area, clean and almost like new again. I'm going to finish the job when the weather improves, but I can't imagine finding a better product for our walk. Its over ten years old now, but the sealer made it look great!

              Wish I've used this before.
I repaired a small walkway at my mothers house and I did not use any sealer and after the winter it looked bad, pealing cracking. I added this to a portion of my patio and it looks good, From now on I will add this sealer to every time I repair concrete, its very rare but I don't like to redo anything. Very happy.

              Seems to work
The sealer is easy to apply and is water repellent once dry, how long that will last stays to be seen. Once dry it is absolutely invisible. It's supposed to cover 100-200 square feet, on the website it even says 250 sqf, but if you have rough concrete pavers like I do then expect a coverage of about 50 square feet, maybe 60 but no more.

Works great - watch out for the fumes
We power washed our older pool patio concrete then a week later we applied the Foundation Armour. The water clearly doesn't soak into the concrete and yet it is not slippery at all around our pool. It went on easy with sprayers but the solvents made the sprayers a discard afterwards. We had to order a second bucket of product so it didn't cover what we'd hoped but for a first coating we weren't surprised we needed more. The fumes are quite strong so be prepared for that.

                Happy with product
I bought this a month ago and it worked perfectly. It went on crystal clear but it brought out the color in my faded 22 year old stamped concrete. It is pricey but I believe I got my money’s worth. I hope it holds up for at least 2 years.

Great Customer Service for Excellent Product
Bought 5 gallons to put on my garage floor, and had a couple questions about application. Called the 866 number, got a really nice guy who walked me through both application questions and how to use the big container. The product went on like a breeze (but heed their instructions on inhaling the stuff...)

                    Restored “like new” porch bricks
This is the second time I have used Foundation Armor WL550. Am always amazed at how easy it is to apply and how it rejuvenates the bricks. Cleanup is a snap. Really great product! Clark Hild Clemmons, NC

Excellent sealant. Only slightly darkened the color of my concrete pavers and now water and spills bead up instead of soaking in. One thing people should know, if you plan on spraying it on you will need a sprayer rated for solvents. A regular garden sprayer will last about 20 minutes and then the o-rings will desolve and stop up the sprayer

                      Great Product
I used this product on a new 30x40 shop floor where vehicles are worked on, and an outdoor 20x20 concrete patio. Waited 30 days for curing. Shop floor is 7 years old and doing great. Patio was left unsealed for 5 years(my ignorance). Patio started flaking from Colorado rain, snow, thaw, freeze! Sealed it this year and SX5000 stopped the flaking. When time to recoat both, we will be using SX5000 again. Those with negative reviews of this product, we usually fin that to be operator error.

Great product. Stronger, more effective than other water proofing applications. Went on super easy. Was quickly absorbed and allowed multiple coats about 15 minutes apart. It cleaned up super easy too. With warm soapy water it did not ruin my sprayer that I used. I’ve seen good results for my purpose already.

                        Great Product and Return Policy!
I bought this product to reseal a 12 year old cement driveway - hoping the water-based material would be less obnoxious and still effective. Using the recommended coverage numbers, I ordered 10 gallons. The coverage was so good that I found that I only needed 5 gallons to get effective performance. Having 5 gallons remaining, I asked through the webpage if it was possible to return an unopened container for refund. To my gratification, it was not only possible, but Foundation Armor provided the shipping label gratis. This product performs as well as solvent system I used in the past, is easy to apply with a cheap garden sprayer, it creates no discernable odor, and on top of that the product support staff is wonderfully responsive and helpful (thanks Mike!). I will be coming back.

                              premium product
I searched for hours to find the right product. To get lasting results you need a solvent based product to protect concrete. Water based products simply do not last. This is an excellent product that I will definitely use again.

                                Not bad but beware.
This product was expensive but did work somewhat. I had to do multiple costs to get it to bead water and it does ok. The biggest problem with this product is it ate through multiple pump sprayers. The river hoses, gaskets, and lines would fall apart. It acts like gas. I would try the water based or something else. I used a different product before that I will go back to.
