[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for an air conditioning unit that was portable so that I could not only have air conditioning on warm days but also have the option to open my window on really nice days and cool nights. A standard window air conditioner does not give me this option where as this portable one does. It has a great design so that it looks good in my room, it isn't so noisy that I can't hear myself think and it allows me to open my window without removing the unit section that goes into the window. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for the features I mentioned.

We have used this AC for a month and the temp on our 2nd floor is now comfortable without running multiple fans. Our window opens horizontal so a few modifications were necessary.

Easy to install, fairly quiet with good cooling power. Haven”t seen an electric bill yet so can’t comment on efficiency. Up and running for just a month so far, time will tell if it is reliable over the long haul.

So far, so good! We purchased / installed the unit a few weeks ago in our kitchen. It was easy to set up, cools well, is about as noisy as you'd expect (we had an 18k BTU window unit before, and it's not as loud as that was), and is pretty good looking (for an air conditioner). We're pleased.

It has been used virtually non stop with the current heat wave we've had. And she works great Easy set up and best of all , doesn't spit water out the front. Will gladly purchase again if needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this back in June so that I could cool my room in the summer because my Windows can't support the in-window ac units, and it works like a dream. It does an amazing job at cooling down the room, and it has some cool features like setting shut down timers, and a swinging option for the vent piece. The only cons to this unit are that you need to have some way to drain the water that it produces, (I just attached a garden hose to the back and feed it into a large bucket that I drain after every few nights), it takes up a good amount of room, and people say that it's a little bit noisy but I disagree, I think it's fine.

We don't have central air in our house and only have crank windows. This we perfect for our room and keeps it cool while the baby and my husband and I sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not central air so don't expect it be! I live in a 1400sq ft split level and have hot water heat, so no ducts. I bought two units, put one in the living/dining room downstairs and one in the bedroom upstairs and I've been happy with the cooling power! They aren't as noisy as my window unit, but still make some noise. installing wasn't overly difficult. I did have to cut one of the window inserts, and wish I didn't have to screw into the window sill, but it works! I will see how these hold up, but I'm happy at this point.

I really want to like this product because it was easy to install and easy to use, but it seems to constantly run and never cools my 650 sq. ft. cabin below 72 degrees. I am starting to wonder if there is something wrong or if I installed it wrong. It would be great if a rep from Frigidaire could reach out. I have many other Frigidaire products and they all work great!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After considerable research I settled on this model and I'm very happy with the overall performance. Its quit and it cools a 600 square foot room with no issues.

I bought this 1 month ago, I no Happy with this products.

While the unit itself seems to work well, there were some assembly issues which were inferior to the LG 14,000 BTU which it replace after three years: 1.) The window panel needed to be cut to fit inside the casement. The LG unit had a sliding panel which adjusted easily to a range of casement widths. 2.) The hose between the unit and the window panel was difficult to assemble, as its fit with the end caps was poor. As a result, I used plenty of masking tape to seal areas which were open.

Our Air went out when my Husband was out of town during a series of 90 degree days. I quickly chose this item because it was a reliable name and lighter in weight than others. We have been using it for a Month no issues. Works great and It was easy for me to set up.

Other air conditioners, did not cool as well as this product. Window units did not do the job, but this is awesome. It cools the entire second floor and my son is super happy.
