    Stopped Cooling After 1 Year
    Like the title says, the AC stopped cooling after only 1 year in use. I turn it on to the lowest temp setting, but the air barely feels cold. I made sure the grates are clean, and the problem persisted, which makes me think it’s a refrigerant / design issue as one of the other reviewers mentioned. DO NOT BUY

      Good unit!
      I bought a cheaper brand that only lasted 2 years. This one is just starting Summer #3. Frigidaire also sent me a 3 year warranty extension offer for $70 The unit was bent up and damaged at the bottom/rear. I was very concerned about this because of all the copper tubing and welds, however I installed it and like I said I'm starting Summer #3. They really need to use wood in the packaging to protect the bottom and rear. Delivery guys are not careful from truck to dolly!

          This was a painful experience. I received 4 different units each of which were damaged. I kept the 4th with the dents and with some bent fins on the rear coil assembly. You need to fix the packaging and your shippers.

          On my review posted 12-21-2023, Frigidaire responded for me to contact them to work on the issue. I did. I sat on hold for 55 min and they never responded. In my opinion, I now believe they just respond on bad reviews to look good but not following through.

            Bought this A/C in July of 2022. It just stopped working with no warning. I paid a lot of money for something that only lasted 1 1/2 years. I was also only cooling 500 square feet.
