love it! no scratch!
I waited a week of cooking to leave review. replaced my old GE electric coil range (circa 1980s) with this, my top concern switching over to glass/ceramic top range was maintenance: how easy do these beautiful mirror shine top gets scratched up. after a week of cooking and maintenance with common sense, here's the picture of my 1 week old range after it's first weekly cleanup: no scratch, like-new. now, the common sense part is that I've only used flat bottomed stainless steel and ceramic cookware a, no cast iron pans.

Sleek but a little noisy

Slide in range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this around 2 weeks ago and I baked broiled and everything runs really well. I read the other reviews about fan noise. The fan noise is so minute that you would have to have bionic hearing to hear it. It all I think it's how people treat there stuff. They get it a week later they turn it to junk. I got cerama bryte and clean it everyday. The top looks like glass.

I want to cook now
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range to replace a newer one that came with the home I purchased as I wanted a self cleaning oven. I like that there is no visible heating element in the oven bottom-so much easier to wipe up any film after self cleaning. The cooktop elements are very versatile and seem to heat quickly. I love how sleek it looks with front controls and my backsplash more on display. I bought all Frigidaire kitchen appliances for my previous home and plan to switch over to Frigidaire as replacements are needed.

Completes our new kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're getting our kitchen totally redone and what better way to finish off a new kitchen? New appliances! We've owned Frigidaire in the past so we went with what we know. We've always had a gas stove and when we moved everything was electric. We found it very difficult to control the heat like we used to. Turns out it was the old stove. The first time we used our new one we noticed a huge difference. The elements are so much easier to control and get the temps just right. The dials on the front are so much better than on the back. The elements heat up quickly and cool down fast making it easier to cook certain things. The oven also preheats a lot faster. I went from hating electric stoves to loving our new Frigidaire.

Concerns
I've only had my new range for two weeks and have cooked on the glass top five times. I have been very careful to not move the pans along the glass top so as not to mar the finish. However, after cooking on one burner only once, I found a couple of marks on the surface that I have not been able to remove. They're very obvious (to me) and make me regret purchasing a glass top range. I also find that the 'hot surface' light goes off while the surface is still not cooled to a level where you could comfortably touch the surface.

Normally, we recommend using a ceramic cooktop cleaning crème prior to the first use of the appliance. It makes future cleanup easier and leaves a protective finish on the glass that helps prevent any scratches or abrasions. If this hasn’t been done, we’d recommend trying it now as it could help with the appearance of the current marks. Most of these cleaners could be found at local grocery or department stores and you can find information on the use in the User Guide provided with your appliance. When cooking, make sure no coarse particles like salt or other hardened soils are caught between the cooking surface and the pots/pans being used, and also check that all pots/pans are completely smooth on the bottom to help reduce any chance of scratching. The hot surface indicator like should only be turning off when the surface has reached a safe temperature. I love my new stove!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just remodelled the kitchen and bought this new stove, I have used every burner and it works great! We especially love using the dual burner in the front that adjusts for the small or larger pots.
The over is great as well just press bake, use the arrows up or down and it starts by itself. So simple.

Nice Features

Great Improvement

Like knobs in front

Sleek style and Frigidaire quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new stove! The cooktop is huge! The speed heat burner is awesome and the other big burner in the front fits my big kettle. I love the warming burner in the middle back because it is perfect for keeping gravies and sauces warm but not boiling. The oven is true and bakes perfectly. Some people complain about the fan that runs when you are baking. It keeps the cooktop cool while using the oven. And some complain that it won’t shut off for a long time. All you have to do is open the oven door a bit after you turn it off and the fan turns off in minutes as soon as the oven cools off. It isn’t loud or annoying at all. This is a quality stove and I am very happy with my decision to buy it!

Exceptional range

Terrible quality
This stove looks beautiful at first. One week of owning it and some boiling water bubbles over and left marks on the top that won’t come off. This should not happen. This product wasn’t cheap. It shouldn’t do that to the glass in one week. So disappointed. I waited years to have a stainless steel appliance. I want to return it. Cant believe it got good reviews.

Good looking range

Burns the bottom of all baked goods
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the worst stove I have purchased in 25 years. It burns cookie dough on the bottom while the tops are raw. It is not a chef problem. I cut all my cooking times by 50% and it still burns food. What a piece of junk! I am not happy and wish I had never purchased.
