Been using the 3M blue tape and decided to try Frog tape. I've been having good results with the blue but I wanted an edge as clean as possible, painting the ceiling white against a tan wall. The Frog tape left the worst edge ever! I don't know if I can get a close enough color match to fix it as a lot of custom colors are not available anymore due to 2020 shortages.

This is the first time I used FrogTape and I a impressed with how great this product works. I hate using tape before painting but I had to in order to get this wall painted correctly. Your product made the whole process better! I will be using the GREEN tape for now on… thank you!

Impressive and sharp paint lines. Easily removable.

3 years ago we hired painters to paint our main floor walls. This year we decided to paint the trim ourselves and bought Frogtape to protect the walls. It made a total mess of our drywall and now I don’t have paint from three years ago to repair. Very disappointed and frustrated

Frog tape work out great around the door.

We bought the Frog Tape for delicate surfaces because it was suppose to be for wallpaper and delicate surfaces. Well that proved to be untrue. It not only pulled the color off our wallpaper, it actually took the finish off our medicine cabinet! Now I have to patch the wallpaper border and most likely replace the medicine cabinet because I don’t think we will be able to match the stain. Expensive mistake! Learned not to trust everything you read!

I bought this product It did not stop the bleeding all of my walls have bled through the tape everywhere the tape was used. This is just one wall. The whole house has breeding leaks

This is the third time first time it bled through second time it peeled the facing off my sheetrock this time it took paint off underneath no I'm not a painter I'm an electrician but I painted a lot of times over the years

We always use blue masking tape when doing projects, but this time we upgraded to the more expensive FrogTape which caused much frustration. After painting with Sherwin Williams high end paint, then attempting to use FrogTape to protect it while painting baseboards several weeks later, the paint was pulled off in multiple places. We are extremely disappointed and frustrated.

I bought this frog tape because I wanted to buy the best but in return in two rooms I did now when you pull the tape off it pulls the paint off also, I am so disappointed in this product, When it did that in the bathroom Pulling the paint off thought maybe it was me just finished my living room now I know it’s the product

We had some tape left over from when we painted our children’s rooms a few months ago. When I needed something to hold a piñata together, I found this tape. It has a really good hold. I’ll be using it for my new found hobby. THANK YOU.

Does not work as advertised. Paint bled though the tape. It made more work for us than if we had not used anything.

I my last painting job I used a different brand and the lines were not sharp. This time I used Frog Tape and it is fantastic!

The surface of my cabinets came off when I removed the tape. I removed the tape immediately after pairing the wall.

FrogTape seems to work better than the blue stuff. I use it for a lot of temporary holding and masking. The containers are really useful for holding parts and screws, too!

I used it to touch up my baseboards. It pulled off my existing paint. The existing paint is about 10 months old. Quarantine project. I pulled the tape off within about 10 minutes.

I bought this thinking this tape would help me with straight lines but after I used it and pulled it off it took the paint with it completely ruining the paint job. DO NOT BUY THIS TAPE.

I thought that frog tape was the so called "best", well my experience was a nightmare. I taped out the trim and ceiling of my guest bathroom, painted, and when I thought I was finished. I pulled the tape off and every where, looks like the photo shown. I'm going to have to redo the whole room.

We used this frog tape on a green painted wall to ensure that when painting the adjacent wall we got clean lines. The green paint had been dry for two weeks. However, when removing the tape it pulled off all three coats of green paint! We now have to re paint ...again! This also occurred on a border that hadn't been painted for over 3 years and the same thing happened. Frogtape is expensive and does not do the job it states.

I recently touched up the baseboards in my front hallway. This tape removed paint from the walls and I have some unsightly bleeding that I'm going to have to deal with. This should have been an easy project that just doubled in magnitude. Would not recommend, or use again.

I want to make a complaint about your product. My husband and I flip houses so as you can imagine we paint a lot! We have been using frog tape as suggested as it is advertised to not Peel paint. Well every time we use your tape, it ripes the paint off the walls!!! We never leave the tape on more than an hour and every time, it lifts the paint, even if the paint is weeks old!! We spend thousands on paint and tape to get a bad result with your product. I will be sure to leave bad review's on every site I can that sells your product unless you want to get back to me with a proper solution. Frog tape is not cheap so this is a real disappointment. Did you change your products? Does your tape not work with certain paints?? Looking forward to your reply.

If your wall has a lot of texture then it does not matter what kind of tape you use, paint will seep under the tape, but if the texture on your wall is mild then I would use frog tape to draw clean and straight lines. I use a 4 inch roller that is dry to really help press down the tape into all the little bumps in the texture

When you want very solid, straight lines, this stuff is worth the cost.

I bought this the other day to tape my trim. It took the paint off my trim. After days of painting, I now need to patch MANY areas to fix them bc of this awful tape. I will never use this again. I will never recommend it. I will tell everyone how awful this is.

I was VERY skeptical of Frog Tape, but after reading online and asking the paint people at Home Depot I decided to give it a try. I am shocked at how well it actually works. The tip I read and also recommend is to paint the edge with the undercoat color first, let it dry, then go over with the top coat. It is beautifully sharp.

I purchased a steak for the second time the first time it worked fine but the second time I could’ve painted better straight lines without even using the tape. I’m not sure what has happened to this product in the last two years but it has definitely declined and a horrible product that I will never purchase again . I do not recommend this tape to anyone painting .

I bought this frog tape hoping that it is going to work better than the other brands and it is wider. However, this tape took off the paint when i was peeling it off. It is so frustrating because it took us 2 days to spray paint our ceiling and the frog tape took them off! Do not buy this tape! I wished I read the reviews before I used it.

After finishing the paint job we pulled the tape off. It peeled off the paint off of the trim it was supposed to protect. I now have to repaint the trim it stripped. Waste of money and huge headache.

Used this tape for years. Never had a problem. But this recent roll is tearing up all of the paint I’ve already applied. Incredibly thrilled to paint what I already have for the second time! I know why I choose Green Tape!
