It installed relatively easily on my two 24 year old garage doors by myself. The old original seal slid out easily, a very pleasant surprise. This new Frost King seal installed with a moderate amount of effort. I adjusted the door to be about eye level. Then, standing inside my garage on the left side of my door, I used my left hand to cup the seal into a U shape and pushed while at the same time with my right hand (about several inches inward) tugged it with a moderate amount of force a few inches at a time. I didn’t need to use any soap or other lubricant. It took a little effort, but the process went a lot more smoothly than I was expecting... The installation would be easier with two people. The whole job of removal and installation took about 15-20 minutes per door. Time will tell how durable it is...

The seal is the exact type I needed for my ten foot garage door. The package says it's ten feet long. Took some time to install it by myself to discover it was only nine feet long. The only other seal they have is 16 feet long and twice the price. So now I have to use another five bucks in gas to return these and try to find some ten footers. Thanks Frost King, another fine made in China product.

This garage door seal was a little tough to install but so worth it. It was reasonably priced and Home Depot was the only local store that stocked it.

The T on each end is too big to fit into the track.

Working well, it's helping to keep a pesty skunk from coming in to an extension to our garage. Easy to install and just the right width.

This was my second garage door seal purchase for this same door. The first one was too big to fit into the tracks of the door. This one was also unfortunately too big and had to be trimmed down on each side, by hand. Once trimmed it did fit and has sealed the door nicely. That was much more work than I had bargained for.

Track guides on seal are flimsy and hard to seat into the tracks. Took item back to store.

It works ok but because it is vinyl it doesn’t totally seal at the bottom as the rubber one I had.

Stiff, does not fit in slot. Tried everything. A waste of time and effort.

The seal comes in one piece, with 3 foot aluminum lengths of rail. Enough for my Two doors. I could have done The installation, myself, except I had a very difficult time removing the old worn out strip that was put in with wide flathead nails pounded into the wood. The screws that came with the aluminum railing are short aluminum or some kind of metal screws. My suggestion is to include wood screws, at least an inch long, and even if you’re replacing rails on a metal door the screws seem too short for them also. My installer used a cats paw to remove the nails. I learned about that. I think I’ll buy one of those also. The amazing thing about the seals is that my garage will now maintain heat, whereas before it was too cold to leave my dog in the garage in the winter.

I've been using this exact same bottom seal for years. Normally it's a 10 minute task to remove and replace. Not today. I don't know if it's a quality control thing, or just a defective one. Old one came out super easy just like how it went in. New one, after I lubed the tracks, applied dawn to the tabs and 1 hour later only got half way through the track of a 9ft door. Totally crap. I used my snips to trim both sides the entire lenght. Then it worked. Wasted Sunday Morning.

Fit perfectly with very little effort. Looks good too.
