Good product. Did what was expected. Easy to install. Could use more of the accompanied nails. I bought 2" roofing nails to complete the project. Could not find 3" ring-shank roofing rails locally.

I love these ridge vents. They are sturdy, allow plenty of air flow, and are super easy to install. It is also very convenient that the 3" roofing nails are included.

Doesn’t work with any ridge caps you sell at Home Depot, have to return

ARRIVED PROMPTLY, GREAT PRODUCT, GETS THE JOB DONE . NEEDED A WIDE RIDGE VENT FOR A 5.5" PSL BEAM AND WORKED OUT GREAT. FYI I COULD NOT FIND PREFAB RIDGE CAPS FOR MY APPLICATION BUT WE MADE OUR OWN RIDGE CAPS FROM THE 3 TAB SHINGLES TO MATCH.

This is an excellent venting arrangement that provides good airflow without leaks even during Florida wind storms. The galvanized ring shank nails provided with the GAF Cobra Rigid Vent provide excellent holding power. Great product and easily installed.

Looks good mounted to the roof peak. Used color matched 3 tab shingles cut into single tabs to cover the top of the ridges. Plenty of nails supplied to nail it to the roof. Just installed (8/5/22) so we will see if it makes a difference in cooling the attic and reducing the electric bill versus a turbine vent.

Very sturdy and easy instalation. I prefer these over other I have used because the vent is on the side which I such better then the one with the vent on top when it comes to leaves.

Great product, I’ve used this on numerous occasions and it gives the ridge vent a beautiful finish (when installed correctly) and allows for enhanced ventilation.

I have used GAF rigid vent for a decade. These new upgrades are great with the new mesh net underlayment which prevents any bugs from getting into the attic. I recommend GAF Rigid Vent

Easy to install, looks good. Purchase a pack of extra nails, the included are too few for all the cap shingles.

I've been installing these vents for 30 years. The screen is a separate product. to give the vent a negative review because it doesn't have a screen is the same as giving 2x4s a bad review because they don't have nails. You buy a roll of 8" screen. staple it down over the ridge opening then install the vented cap. These are the best ridge vents money can buy, as they were when I started in 1985.

I would give it 5 stars if it had smaller holes to keep bugs out

GAF Cobra Rigid Vent 3 is a great product, easy to install, includes many more nails than necessary, sections fit together like a glove. While I can see the point of it I don't like the "tear to fit a custom length" feature, as it tears if you miss a nail with the hammer, and then needs patching. I bought these on-line, and the free shipping was a nice touch but it took weeks and the packages were in terrible shape when received.
