Very nice roomy very well built my only complaint we use the icemaker and water the filters drop so fast in percent we have had it for two months and it’s already at 53 percent it’s expensive to keep a filter on it at this point only negitive so far is the filter

Kind of loud, needs a butter dish, getting anything from the freezer is fairly clumsy, would be better if the ice container was clear

We believe we will like the refrigerator overall. However, very disappointed that the doors cannot be adjusted as ours are uneven.

Had the unit for about 3 weeks. Good: Love the visibility inside the unit. Very spacious, bright and you can see what is in all of the drawers very clearly. Good in door storage. Split height shelf is a good idea but feels weak and is kind of hard to slide back an forth. Fingerprint resistant exterior is amazing! French doors engage solidly when closing which is reassuring. Dispenses ice well but it is loud when doing so. Needs Improvement: Needs to be set to 36 degrees in order to keep food in safe zone around 39 degrees. Would be better if backlighting included words on the panel at night. Also, some brands have a combined mechanism (LG) that allows you to dispense ice and water without having to press buttons to change the mode. Very handy. Wish this had something like that. Freezer door is a bit hard to slide out at first. It is almost like the bin is catching on something. Ice dispensing motor is VERY loud. Our unit did not come with an ice bucket in the freezer but maybe that is something this model does not have or the delivery crew missed it.

Very unhappy with this (less than 1 year old) GE refrigerator. Immediately after purchase it was noisy. It whirs constantly. Have had the fan and motherboard replaced twice. No improvement. So disappointed with this product. Going to warn all the people I know to avoid GE.

Nice looking, great lighting, quiet! Hope I will not be disappointed

There are many things to like about the refrigerator. We needed a 33 inch fridge and there were not a lot of options. This is a good brand and so far operates well. 1. The deli drawer at the bottom is high enough to put most things in it and if does not pull out far enough so you can’t get the things in the back of the drawer. It is a waste. 2. The use of the space is not great. There is a good deal of dead space between the fridge and door shelves when the are closed. 3. The ice maker is way too small we run out of ice all the time. If I had a choice of many options I would not buy this refrigerator but alas I did not have many choices so I am stuck with this one.

We like everything about it, except for the ice maker, to start the capacity is very small, there’s also is no way to access cubes from the inside without taking the whole storage container out, the ice maker is a little noisy and there are times late at night you want to get ice out without making noise, the opening should be bigger so your hand can get in there. Another issue is the the writing on the ice maker door is almost the same color as the door so it’s hard to see, it should have been illuminated, you basically have to memorize what each button does. The crushed ice function seems very slow. All in all the refrigerator is very spacious and has nice shelving and lighting.

Very nice fridge bid and very well designed wish I had it sooner

I particularly love this fridge because it gave me the best storage capacity for the space that I have. I really wanted a french door fridge and I believe I chose the best one. It’s quiet so you don’t hear it running and it looks stunning. My only gripe is the thin shelving where the ice dispenser is on the inside. I will not complain as this satisfies all my family needs.

Bought this unit 3 years ago. For 5 months now, I keep changing out the filter because our cups all have black floaties and sediment in them. I have gone thru 4 filters in 5 months thinking that the filters have been bad. Then, with the latest one from one week ago, we started running in home testing. It's NOT the water, the water is clean and clear. But anytime we use ice in our drinks, we get the sediment. Ice water gets black sediment in the cups. It's got to be the ice machine. I took apart the ice maker and saw all sorts of pitting in the 'ice cube tray' where the water freezes, but I couldn't pull any off with my finger. I cleaned it, rinsed it and now STILL making abhorrently disgusting ice. We are going back to bag ice like we did when all this started, but now, we trust the water, just not the ice. I may work to buy a new ice maker but I don't know if that is the problem. Any ideas? I tried to add pictures, but could not figure it out using the platform/portal.

I had a replacement i believe the compressor, or something to do with the butane system. I did however receive a brand new replacement and enjoying the fridge

Love our new GE refrigerator! We are delighted with the French door design.

Beautiful refrigerator body that fits well in my new kitchen. Door pockets are very narrow & limiting. Overall quiet except periodic tapping sound. Within 3 months of one person use, water filter indicator is red. It was supposed to last 6months. Why can’t I order the right replacement filter by entering the refrigerator model #?. I don’t need to scroll through 50+ choices.

I have only been using our new fridge for a couple of days. The water line was installed today, so we are hoping to be able to use the water and ice soon. I do wish all of the internal plastic shelves were made of a stronger plastic. I know from a prevvious fridge with plastic shelves, drawers had pieces bust off and cracks in several of them. I just hope they are much stronger than they look! Love the LED lighting, the special drawers for meets and cheeses. This is an upgrade from our former 21 cubic ft to this 23.7 cubic ft and it fills the available space so much better. I hope it lasts for many years.

Bought all 4 GE profile products they did not have a fridge in my size. Only had a couple weeks so far so good . Waiting for rebate for buying 4 products. Once I have it a little longer without any issues and receive rebate I would give it a 5 star

We love all the features except for difficulty in reading the control panel-white writing in stainless steel background.

Never had a refrigerator this exceptional. Considering the refrigerator I replaced was 30 yrs old. Wanted to had the extra features. Water ice etc this is wonderful my young adults use it constantly. It’s the gift that keeps giving.

A great, beautiful fridge. Great shelf space and nice clean look!

Over all good. However door had squeak when opening. They adjusted door hinge, now doors are not square.

This refrigerators almost perfect. The difference between a four versus five stars is the height between the shelves. In order to be able to put the milk on the bottom shelf, you have to take out one of the shelves or use the feature where the shelf is only half length, which also decreases the space in the refrigerator. For the price, I should be able put the milk on the bottom shelf there where it is most secure and use all of my shelves.

No door in door feature. Sides of top drawer of freezer compartment are too short and items fall off the back and sides. Ice cube maker is very slow. This review site reset itself and I have to do it all over again.

We love the looks of our new GE French-Door refrigerator. It is replacing our old GE Profile Side-by-Side. The side by side has more room in the bins for things like fruits and veggies, and more items fit in the side by side doors but the French Door fridge has more room in the freezer for larger items. The ice maker holds a lot less ice than the side by side. We will get use to the smaller storage areas in the French Door fridge. No one refrigerator is perfect but the looks of the new one is very nice.

Refrigerator is working great so far. My wife loves it. That’s all that matters. 🙂

It works well but is noisy. It is lower than my pass refrigerator and seems to run more.
