Only wish this switch had a bus bar for the ground wire. Other than that it's great.

works well! transition point from UG to inside wire. Serves as a required shut off point for my garage heater. Nice feature: Door will not open unless in off position. To that point, you cannot move to the on position until you close the door. Latch must be pushed to the side to open, so you don't need a lock, but with curious kids in the house a lock isn't a bad idea.

Good disconnect. I needed one at my 5 HP compressor since it is not near the breaker box. I'm only using 2 of the 3 poles, and I did have to add a grounding bar. I wanted something "more obvious" than an A/C disconnect. It easily accepted the 8 ga. feed wire, well-placed knockouts, solid disconnect. It served all of my purposes for a reasonable price.

This is NOT an INDOOR safety switch, it's a OUTDOOR safety switch, great product, I had a license electrician install this safety switch or disconnect panel because if I do electrical work I can turn off the power and don't worry about getting electrocuted or kill by electricity. Also don't have to call the power company to shut power off to do electrical work. Also once power is off I can do work on my 200 Amp 42 Breaker Panel which is inside my garage. I order an indoor safety switch, home depot sent this one and when my electrician saw this safety switch, he told me this is an outdoor panel. Anyway I kept it and he installed it for me outside.

Easy install. Put it on a 220V circuit I installed for my new Air Compressor. Using a 30A Breaker in my breaker box; this switch is completely sufficient to disconnect power to the compressor if I need to work on it safely. I didn't want to depend on the On/Off switch on the compressor and I don't want to have to go all the way to the other end of my garage to switch the breaker off when I need to disconnect the power at the compressor. I originally thought about using a standard Air Conditioning Disconnect, but since this switch is located inside a closet that I built to limit the compressor noise, I don't have to worry about using something that is made to withstand outside elements and I like having a solid switch rather than a pull & reinsert contact plug.

I used this disconnect on my solar system and it worked perfectly. Easy to work with and lots of space for wire routing.

I needed to relocate a shop compressor and this disconnect switch was exactly what I needed to complete the job. Solid product that was easily installed. Works as my main disconnect of the copressor from the 240VAC supply voltage.

This switch was easy to install,had plenty of working room and good knockout locations

This is a well made safety switch, with several electrical knock-outs for convenience connections. The handle is sturdy metal, and not plastic like some, which is why I paid a little more for this one. I will cycle this once a week, so I wanted a sturdier handle than plastic.

This is an excellent heavy-duty safety switch. It is both single phase and three phase allowing extra versatility in use.The case utilizes the latest safety, by not allowing the case to be opened without the switch being in the off position.

Nice solid disconnect. It has 3 poles and no fuses or fuse holders. Line terminals are at the top and load terminals are at the bottom. The printing on the interior label for the unit I purchased was light and difficult to read.

I used this as an AC disconnect in a line feed from the main panel to our solar inverter. It is serving well in that application.
