JUNK - STAY AWAY
I purchased this unit exactly 5 1/2 years ago.
Dealing with the whole "balanced" issue so belt doesn't come off is incredibly annoying.
Exact fill never worked.
At 5 years the part that locks the washer died.
Long drying time at 90 mins.
At 4 years double drying time until now dryer doesn't dry at all.
Never book service appt with GE on line - availability not accurate - and once I waited all day and the guy never showed or called!!

Simple, space saving.
Definitely more compact than the Frigidaire combo unit that it replaced. Seems well made, simple components, but plenty of operating options. Easy to install. Dryer capacity is generous.

Fits the Laundry Room Just Fine
We've owned just two other brands of washers/dryers in our lifetime and both brands (Sears Kenmore - 14 years and Frigidaire - almost 20 years) have served us well. We were intrigued to see the GE combo unit. Our last washer/dryer was stackable and liked the design of this particular unit. We thought we'd give it a try as we would need a stackable unit for our laundry room anyway.

Part fell off
Machine runs great. But, after about 20 loads a large metal bracket (5 inches by 10 inches) fell off and into the wash tub. I looked but could not see where it was originally attached. It hasn't affected the operation of the machine. I just hope it's not something important!

Quality no more
First load has all the items in one big knot. I had all I could do to untangle the load and get it loose. Now my machine has bounced out of place and isn’t balanced.

Thought we had a good machine
Purchased the Frigidaire laundry center at Home Depot, November 2022 and thought we made a good purchase but Agitator stop moving and as of 8/29/24 repair tech says it will cost over 800 dollars to repair and it’s not even 2 years old. Will not be purchasing Frigidaire products anymore. Sad to say this is today’s quality

Making GE Appliance a part of your home
I love my washer/dryer it's quiet. I have it in my closet in living room and with door shut can't hear it at all. So it also doesn't take up much space. It looks nice also.. has great feature to let you start/stop if its becomes off balance.

Great combo unit. Does fairly large loads easily. Lots of options for wash and dry. Has the low water wash feature like modern expensive washers. Clothes come out almost dry after washing. Very happy with purchase. Delivery guys were excellent.

Excellent Unit
I love my new machine! The tub doesn't look that big, but I'm able to wash 6 small rugs in one load which is a huge time saver compared to my old machine. And the automatic setting for the amount of water needed is also a big savings. My clothes seem to be cleaner as well.

GE Stackable Washer & Dryer
Very easy to use and fit perfectly where it was installed. The 3.8 cu. ft. Capacity washer has a stainless steel basket and the 5.9 cu. ft. Capacity electric dryer gives you plenty of room to wash and dry your clothes.

All we hoped for and more

Black Marks
I bought this stackable unit in 2018 for my beach rental. It’s washer large comforters and rugs. However, the dryer leaves black marks on all my sheets and now clothing. Seems like a common thing for this model. Now looking for a new unit, even though this unit is still fine, I can’t have all black lines anything white.

I have owned some of the nicest sets of front loaders from Maytag to LG and all were not worth the premium cost. Even the cadillac speed queen the salesman didn’t recommend their front loaders either. So yes, I’m done!
For me this Unit make sense, A top load washer with a front load dryer. You can find this unit in many apartments today and are very serviceable. I been using this GE and it’s relatively quiet and very functional, most of all my wife likes it! With different water levels. It may not look very impressive in today’s standards, but if I should be in need of a service call, I will not be scared 😳

Great Compact Option!
So far, I've really liked my new washer/dryer. It's quiet and seems quite efficient. The space in the machines is a lot larger than I expected! They only thing I've noticed, is that there seems to be a ton of lint at the vent opening outside--even though I clean the lint trap after each cycle.

perfect fit for my requirements
i installed this in an 1890 hand built china alcove.it fits great, is very quiet and with the twin glass doors closed, is almost invisible since it's dark gray. i also installed motion sensor lights that illuminate when the doors are opened.

Nice unit!
Nice unit ! Ok I had some of the nicest front loaders from Maytag to LG and all were not worth the Dollars, Even speed queen the salesman didn’t Recommend their front loaders either. So yes, I’m done with it
This Unit make sense, A top load and a front load dryer, You can find this unit in many apartments. Seem to be relatively quiet and functional, most of all my wife likes it With different water levels, Delivery was good all except they should’ve used tape for the gas line which I had to redo. Other than that fantastic hopefully It will serve for many years. If not this is easily serviceable.

Not worth the price tag.

Great performance
I love this washer and dryer unit! I have a smaller space and presumed a front load washer stacked with dryer and I hated the smelly front loader and leaving the door open blocked the pathway.
