These were very paintable, a little rough in the channels but two coats did the trick. That arrived in good shape even though they are heavy. Easy to wall Mount into the studs.

I purchased this slatwall hoping it would bolt to the wall & be durable. It is NOT DURABLE without inserts. The pricing jumped $22 after 2 days of purchase and is not worth the increased price point. Home Depot will not price match the original price.

I would give this 5 stars, but its very difficult to get the panels to line up end-to-end because the t-slots cut into the front allow the panel to warp and bow out from your mounting surface. I got it very close, but it was a struggle. At least picking them up from the store meant no shipping damage.

Great product for organizing a garage or store

the box contained 2 pieces of slatwall, enough to cover 2'x4'. It was packaged decently but not enough to withstand shipping. It took two coats of latex paint to create a finish that looked good. They appear to be made of particle board so we'll see how they hold up. Overall a good buy compared to others on the market.

Product was exactly what we were looking for and made the difference.Our showroom looks amazing.

I used a pair of panels to trick out a gear closet, helping transform what had been a jumbled pile of backpacks and other gear into an easily organized and accessible wall of equipment. I had to cut a couple inches off the length of each panel to fit my space, and the panels cut beautifully with no tear-out on my table saw. I bought the paintable version so I could match the inside of a closet wall, and it painted up nicely.

The MDF is of very high density and good quality. MDF is very heavy and difficult to handle, the reason I went with the two small panels. The finish is normal for painted slat wall. For a garage application I highly recommend the inserts that are available. I did not need them as I am using the slat wall as a woodworking clamp rack for smaller clamps. The only issue I had was that it was slightly damaged on a back corner from shipping. Since this was not an issue for me, I accepted the product. Be careful to inspect the box for damage before you take this home.

I use them in my retail picture framing shop. Because the sheets are smaller it makes it very easy to work with. Once you have the bottom one screwed to the wall, your good to go. Painting the groove is not easy. I like it to match the wall color. You could leave the groove natural or use a plastic insert to save time. It will take 2 coats of paint to cover the panels.

The size and weight of the panels- 24" x 48" made the product easy to install by myself. I like the fact that the substrate/core was real wood and designed for slatwall applications. Mounting to my stud-wall was quite easy after installing the insulation between the studs. I used a 1 5/8" dry wall screw. I also decided to add my own trim to the project after the panels were up.Used half round in the corner and pre-finished MDF for the top trim.

I installed these slatwall panels because I hate clutter, especially in my garage. With my brother's help, they were easy to put up, with the entire project completed in about an hour. Installation was just a matter of locating the studs, placing the panels on the wall, then attaching with drywall screws. The metal groove inserts give a high-end look and add strength, so I'm glad I included them in spite of the additional expense. I love that I can customize the look and function of the system with the variety of hooks, paper towel holder and baskets. There is even a sturdy hook for my unicycle. The neighbors in my condo complex have come to admire, so I'll probably be seeing more Garage Escape products in my neighborhood soon.

For some reason they have the Cherry finish listed as 54” wide while the other finishes were 48”. I spoke to a rep before ordering in hopes of clarification. She said, “I can see the confusion, I believe it’s 54” … I rolled the dice because I didn’t believe the manufacturer would make just the cherry finish veneer a different width… it just arrived and I haven’t installed it yet, but it is indeed 48 inches wide.

This slatwall panel met my expectations. The corner was slightly damaged in shipping but it was immaterial.

Great product. Ordered unfinished and received white, which is fine and we made it work rather than deal with returns, but it was not what we ordered.

This product is very nice. Only problem you can find end caps to finish the look around the edges.

I like the size, lot easier to use than the 4x8.

Bought this for our workout room to hang various workout necessities from the wall. Looks great and wasn't too difficult to put on the wall.

Nice and strong, very easy to paint.

Most were good, one was warped. Would order again.
