These Gardner Bender metal insulated staples are a bonus to protect your wire with the plastic insulation added. I don't use many of these around the house, but appreciate how it will help me protect my wires without damaging the sheath. I didn't mind the small increase in price to keep me from running new wires due to a mistake with my nailing abilities.

So far, about a 1/4 of these have bent, while trying to hammer them in, which resulted in having to remove them, and use new ones.

I put up porch lights all around the house and used these to tack up the power cords in the corners. Drove in easily and work great. The tan blends in with the wood well.

They are as described; but most English-speaking Americans would describe them as 'Insulated Metal Staples' and leave off the (Silver?) part. They are mild steel.

As long as you dont try to staple through the NM cable you cant go wrong with these. Seriously though, dont staple through the cable no matter how better you think it will hold.

The staples bend easily and dont drive into the wood properly

Fit nicely around the wire and has a protective plastic piece so the staple does not cut the wire
