After ‘treating myself’ to a new large set of cordless tools courtesy of a recent HD sale, I needed a place to house them. Enter the Gladiator. I put it together myself in about 45 minutes. Use the wisdom of another reviewer when setting the shelves - brace one side by inserting long screws / nails while working the other side. Personally, I don’t care about an overall color scheme to unify my workspaces. Thus, saving more money by buying the ‘white’ cabinet was an easy choice. If it matters, the white is greyish. It comfortably accomodates 8 handheld cordless tools and about as many battery packs. The most telling element of this product review is that I bought another one after loading this unit up.

The cabinet was just what we wanted.

Your diagrams are slightly OFF. In 1 of the pictures, it shows how to " connect " the 2 rear panels. Well the picture is WRONG, because, if you assemble the panels as shown, there aren't any nuts in the middle & at the same time, at the bottom, there 2 panels both of which have nuts. The lower panel has to be turned opposite of what the picture shows. In other words, turn the panel 180*.the other problem is how the rear strip that mounts to the wall, should be installed. I found out, by PURE ACCIDENT, how the mount the strip, but also how it fits the top / rear of the cabinet. Your picture shows the strip as though it should fit into the top rear of the cabinet, while it should show how to catch the upper lip on the cabinet.

The gear boxes are good. They went together fairly easily and I think they will work for me. The reason for 2 stars is that the the feet on one box have a 1/2 inch thread stem, and on the box with the drawers, the stem is a 3/8” thread and 1/2 inch longer than the other. Can’t level 1 with the other

Never assembled the cabinets as they were returned because the person at Home Depot .com stated that they could be hung. The co. was called & they advised against that. They were returned for Husky's that could be hung.

Easy to put together however it is difficult to plumb the doors

The product overall is very nice and looks really nice it took more time to assemble as thought all the pieces and some of the parts were slightly bent through shipment but would buy it again.

Went together like a charm. My 4 year old daughter has it down. This is my 4th cabinet. Great quality for the cost. Solid stuff without spending an arm and a leg.

Husky brand cabinet Locking system is a two point lock. This cabinet has a single point lock. You cannot change the position of the shelf the lock engages into restricting the shelf layout. I did not return it as I originally wanted to. It is for ammo storage, 50 cal cans don't configure to mandatory shelf placement so I settled for what did with some wasted space. Husky Cabinet door can accept 9 mm 50 round boxes on back side as well this cabinet can't. I was able to store another 100 rounds of 9 mil ammo in the Husky door with the use of a aluminum sheet to prevent them from falling out when you move door. Next one will be a Husky for ammo storage. This cabinet works well for general garage storage I could not find this size 31 x 28 x 18 that was designed specifically for ammo.

Convenient shipping to local store. Easy to assemble. Not nearly as durable as the heavy-duty model, but half the price. Casters can be ordered but are currently unavailable.

Nice cabinet, quite sufficient for my usage.

From some of the reviews I read I was not expecting this item to be as strong and easy to assemble but I was presently surprised at the quality. It did help to with one of the assembly video's on YouTube, it saved me allot of time. I do recommend this to anyone that is somewhat mechanically inclined.

Complete with instructions that are easy to follow. Good quality product.

Excellent product ... I have several Gladiator cabinets.Only suggestion : please include a few extra magnet strips for the door closings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cabinet is awesome. You do have to build your self but the instructions are simple to follow. Once it’s put together it looks great! The doors are lockable and comes with a key. Awesome product in general. I used it to hide Christmas presents and now is in my sons room as an entertainment center. It’s sturdy and durable. Very happy consumer. :)

Cabinet has sturdy parts and excellent directions. Follow them closely. Only issue was was installing the shelves. They are evenly spaced, but won't fit anything. Based placement on the magnets for the door, per instructions, but need to figure out something else. Fits nicely under the gladiator bench.

The cabinet was easy to assemble, it is a good cabinet for the garage.
