Paint color and paint was good

Many years ago I worked for Glidden selling the products in a retail setting. Have used them over the years and never had a problem until now. Applying the semi gloss interior paint of a mix of newly textured and existing walls, it covers very poorly, does not adhere well and does not dry with a consistent sheen. Works OK on the fresh texture but coverage an sheen are uneven. On the existing painted surfaces ,this is akin to smearing grease on the wall and hoping it will look better once it dries. If it has a primer built in I would not think the adhesion and coverage would be so poor. I will go another brand going forward.

Even over a proper primer this paint doesn't stick! It chips off with a bump or a fingernail.

I used this paint in my bathroom. I always make sure to have a fan on when someone is bathing and about an hour afterwards. I always prep my walls the day before painting. Not only did I have to put three coats of this paint on my walls, but here we are almost two months later, and if water happens to get on the wall when I go to wipe the water off guess what comes with it? Oh yeah, the paint! So not only do the water marks stay on the wall, but the paint comes off as well. I want my money back!

I have been purchasing Glidden Premium paint and primer in 1 in different colors for the past 5 years. To this point I have been very satisfied. I just had an experience which I can honestly say I have never had with this paint or any paint and primer in 1. Very poor coverage despite being very careful and meticulous with application. Inconsistent color despite thorough mixing. Had to paint the rooms twice which is not what you expect with a thicker paint and primer combo. Also as said in other feedback, the paint smells very strong when it dries. Smells like strong vinegar. This was the most expensive experience I have ever had with Glidden in terms of time and extra gallons. Did the formula change? Were costs cut? Sure seems like others have had similar experiences. So dissatisfied because I used to love this paint and recommend it!

Was very disappointed with the results of this paint. Very poor coverage and difficulties applying . Have recently been painting several rooms in the house with a different brand and had no similar problems.

We purchased 2 gallons of this paint in a semi gloss in a creamy white color. Painted the hall, ceiling entry and one corner wall in our living room. As it started to dry, the odor got really strong. It's been 6 days and we've had to keep our windows open and sleep with our bedroom door closed. Its been beautiful weather but It's raining today so we had to close the windows. I'm currently simmering lemons and put out a cup of vinegar in the hall hoping this smell will go away. I'm sick from the smell. Not sure what to do next but it's bad supposed to be mid 70's this week so windows will be open

I just bought this paint to cover the trim and doors in my bedrooms and thought because it was a paint and primer it would cover well. Once it dried I could see streaks in the paint as if showing the color beneath it. The color beneath was a slightly different shade of white so I figured it would cover easily but it didn’t. I’m taking it back to the store in hopes of getting my money back. Not pleased at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I used this product. We installed raw wood shiplap on our walls and it only took two coats of paint to finish. I would recommend this product for your painting needs. High quality paint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Glidden premium Interior paint provides fantastic coverage and brilliant color without having to prime walls first! Very easy to paint with. Didn't have any issues with paint being globby or leaving drip marks. I only had to apply a couple of coats for good coverage. I would definitely recommend Glidden premium Interior paint!!

After sanding washing and letting surface dry, I painted my whole house with Glidden Premium. I let paint in the bathroom dry for 48 hours before showering. A month later the condensation on the walls in the bathroom is turning grey from the paint and is staining my white baseboards grey. It is also starting to bubble. On the other walls in the house, when I wipe them down it turns the rag grey (the color of the walls). I can also use a damp finger and rub the walls and it will turn my finger a milky grey color.

Unless you are prepared to do 2-3 coats of paint I WOULDN'T buy this particular Glidden paint. Too thin, runs off the wall and needs to be applied several times for a thorough job done.

No reason to spend a lot of money on interior paint on a rental house. I was very surprised and impressed how well the Glidden paint covered. Great value!

I have used Glidden now for 3 years and I ALWAYS recommend it to anyone that is sprucing up a room or for any project in general! Glides smoothly when you’re cutting in and covers great!!!

I repainted the exterior and interior of my single family home in preparation to sell the property. I had use Glidden paint before, so I decided to use it again. I used their exterior flat and semi-gloss Premium paint and it provided very good coverage and was easy to work with. Good consistency. I had to re-stir the paint when it sat for a few days, but the results were great. I also used the Premium Interior Flat and Semi-gloss. All were great and the coverage per gallon was as I expected. I also like that the paint smell wasn't too strong.

Used the eggshell finish pure white on my bedroom ceiling. Went on easy. Had to use 2 coats to cover the previously yellow paint but the yellow is now GONE! I'm doing the same to my living and dining rooms as soon as I get the help! I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Paint still comes off when wiping off marks with wet rag.

I bought this at Home Depot to Paint the entire inside of our home. Paint went on beautifully. I have two Conures, so I had to be careful of the odor. The paint was perfect, didn't bother my birds and the look is just great. Covered perfectly. Thanks Glidden for a job well done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was a little concerned when I opened this and it looked fuschia rather than red. A bit more concerned when it went on pink as well but drys true to the red color picked. Definitely need to apply two coats for full coverage and darker shade. Overall, pleased with this product and final results.
