I bought the Goof Off Rust and Stain remover to clean my white vinyl fence after watch several videos of peope using it to clean their white vinyl fences. This producr worked very well in those videos but didnt work so well on my fence. The product did work just not well enough to jeep me from using my pressure washer on every inch of my fence. I’m not knocking this product because my fence may have been just too far gone for a grass friendly product, meaning I may need a stronger product. I did use a product that wasn’t grass or plant friendly and it worked like a champ. However, I will try this on the siding on my home.

Had some rust stains from a HVAC overflow on my vinyl siding... Over the last several years I've tried just about everything to remove the stains. Pressure Washing! Alcohol (some of which I may have consumed!) Gasoline Brake cleaner Soap and water The list continues. I found this... This stuff is great! Removed the stain with only a couple of applications. (No scrubbing!)

Had rust stains from sprinkler system on the vinyl fence that had been there before moving in. Finally got around to trying this and it was very effective.

This product works like magic. I did half of my sideway so you can see the difference from the part is done and the part is not.

Having a party next week, and when the shade are open you can see the rusted fence. I took my HDX pump sprayer, filled it up with the goof off rust remover and now it looks much better and it only took a few minutes.

I wasn't sure that this product was going to be as effective as I needed it to be, but it did a great job and I would highly recommend it!

Very easy to use, one application took most rust off, a second finished the job. You will need a sprayer (I used a pump garden sprayer).

I've been using this rust remover (formerly RustAid) for years to remove irrigation rust stains. It works well on vinyl, painted trim, concrete, brick, metal - just about any surface - without the need for pressure washing. I pour the entire contents into a 1 gallon pump-up sprayer and use as needed. Does not seem to affect the seals on the sprayer and doesn't go bad. Works on glass too, but don't let it dry on the glass - it will etch it! My only suggestion to the folks at Goof Off would be to sell it with a built-in sprayer!

I am not one to write reviews, but since this product impressed me way beyond my expectations, I had no choice. I was ready to do some painting on my rust stained stucco, but thought I would give it a try, & am certainly glad I did. I also sprayed some "Goof Off" on my wife's two angles, which I was about to trash, and to my amazement, they are back to life. Spray, wait just a couple of minutes, wash off with garden hose, and like magic, it looked new again. I had tried a few other products in the past with no luck.

I am on a well system which produces water containing clear water iron. While I was gone, one of my impact sprinklers broke and sprayed my house (for about an month.). My house is T-111 with low- sheen paint. I was going to repaint, as I have had very poor results with other rust remover products, but I decided to try this instead. I cleaned a 5' by 30' area in about 45 minutes with this. I applied it with a chip brush and roller, and waited about 5-10 minutes, and with no scrubbing, the stains were gone. Awesome! Paint looks like new, with no damage. I flushed the siding good with water to ensure all of the Remover was gone. Next, I applied it to my pump house with about 4 yr old rust stains. It took 3 apps of Remover and some work with a nylon scrub brush to get the stains, but I got them. Took about 30 minutes. I used about 1/2 gallon total of this product for my cleaning job, for both the house and pump house. You get a lot a bang for your buck with this product. Bottom line, the fresher the stains are, the better this product works. If you have old/ stubborn/ heavy stains, a little patience and elbow grease will be required. I give this product 5 stars. It saved me a good amount of time and money on not having to repaint. It's cheap and it works. I recommend you try it, especially on painted surfaces you are considering repainting. You may be as pleasantly surprised as I was. At a cost of around $10, you really don't have anything to lose. Goof-Off also has a money back guarantee on the product.. Just follow the directions. This product is easy to use and works quite well to remove fresh rust stains. Older stains and large areas will take additional applications, but I am eager to see progressive results.

This product works great! However, I would like to know the justification to DOUBLE THE PRICE of the product from $10 t0 $20.

Works great, particularly on vinyl siding. Removed the rusty water stains that wouldnt wash off with normal washing.

We had some rust stains on our white vinyl fence, I saw all the good reviews and decided to give this a try. Within seconds of spraying it on the fence the rust was GONE! I could not believe how quick it worked! I wish I had gotten before and after pictures! We scrubbed that fence for nearly an hour last year and it didn’t come close as clean as it did with this stuff!

Eliminates the stains fast

It would be better if it wasn’t so expensive.

You recently raised price for this by close to 40%. I will now buy it elsewhere.
