Once I figured out you thread through to the length you want then you start ratcheting, works great!! Hope this helps

They work great. My only complaint is how difficult the packaging was.

Great tie downs if you haven't used a ratcheting type before I could understand the frustration by the other reviewers, that being said once you understand how to use them correctly you would see the ease of use and appreciate the quality. I used these for hanging my tree stands, the ratcheting system is very solid and seems well made with the rubber handles.

After many tries, I tried to follow instructions- no luck. Waste of time-- I'd return if I could

the instructions are useless to put these together and actually use them. Save yourself time and just throw your $13 down the toilet
