My wife has always either used plastic or metal hangers for her clothes, some items just don’t fair well like this. Shoulders get stretched or misshapen, metal hangers bend, plastic hangers break. That is why she started using these velvet non slip hangers. Immediately she noticed how her shirt shoulders were keeping their original shape on hangers, and looking the way the garment was intended while she wore it. She really likes how the hook can be turned so no matter which way she hung the garment on the hanger, she could have it face the correct way in her closet. She is going to stick with these hangers.

Impressive! These non slip hangers really do a great job of keeping large neck blouses and sweaters from sliding off the hanger while inserting them between other items in an overstuffed closet. After you start using them you can forget about the effort of re-hanging items after they fall off. Unlike others used in the past, they are really strong. I am replacing all the plastic hangers I have with these. I am unsure how one would hang a skirt on one though since there are no clips to hang it on.

I thought I would try these because all my hangers are plastic and these seemed a better choice for my good clothes. When they arrived, I thought there couldn't possibly be 50 hangers in such small packs, but there were. They are thin, yet very sturdy. The velvet coating makes them non-slip, which I thought I would really like, however, if the clothes aren't hung exactly right, you can't just shake the hanger to adjust them. You have to actually use two hands to set the shoulders straight. I find this kind of inconvenient. They are really nicely made.

These velvet hanger are exactly what I have been looking for over the years. Women's blouses and sweaters are usually much narrower on the shoulders than men's. The result is that the cloth on women's shoulders usually end up with a bump on them when you put on them on hangers provided by the cleaning companies. These hangers solve that problem because they are narrower and smoother. Women's clothes are often made of softer and silkier material than men's and they sometimes slip off the hangers. The velvet on these hangers keeps that from happening. The first time I hung my wife's clothes on them she was extremely pleased. Also these hangers are about 1/4" thick so that more of them can fit on the hanging bar.
