They are just not as good as they use to be. Ridges where the clips snap on to are not deep enough. I would not buy this brand again.

I purchased the 4-Tier Unit (36 x 54 x 14). Reviewers mention these being unsteady or hard to assemble so I wanted to share my opinion. Please see the attached photo for my suggested assembly instructions. Two cons: (1) one shelf had a large sticker attached to it. Pulling off the sticker left a sticky residue requiring time to clean it off. (2) the anti-tip kit only works if you have the unit directly against a wall. A better anti-tip kit would include wall anchor clips and zip ties.

We bought this at Home Depot. We wanted it to put things on in our kitchen. It was just what we needed. Wheels would have been a Bonus.

These did the job for me. I bought a few shelves to use inside my home. I dressed them up, however, by hanging a cute shower cloth around them. Used little s-hooks to hang.

I love this shelf because it is slightly narrower than the 4 ft versions. But it is still nice and tall so can have five shelves. Fairly easy to put together, but time-consuming. The big thing for me is that it did not come with casters, and the casters I bought were expensive and poorly-made. But overall, this shelf did the trick and I now have more storage space for my tools.

Theses are great racks. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. With 3 of these I had a 12' wall of garage storage solved. Quickly and neatly. I did not need the casters but they were included at no charge, so maybe in the future they will come in handy. Look solid. A side point: I only needed 3 shelves each for my particular situation so I have 6 extra shelves. All I need to do is buy 3/4 diameter poles and I have 8 feet more of shelf storage.

instructions indicate this shelving unit is designed to be stabilized by being screwed into a wall. Unless you do that it is unusable & I have no confidence that the single anchor point would actually result in a stable unit on carpet. The diameter of the openings on the corner of the shelves is so much bigger than the diameter of the legs that the whole unit wobbles all over the place. The individual components are sturdy.

For so many years, we’ve kept our pots and pans stored downstairs on a multicolored plastic kids shelf. Realizing we are running out of storage space, we decided to purchase a sturdier shelf to hold more. The shelf was easy to put together and yet so amazingly strong. I weigh 300 pounds and was able to sit on one of the shelves with no bend or problems. Not only were we able to transfer all the pots and pans that occupied the kids shelf, but we did on just one of these shelves! Wife is insistant on buying another! Love how the wired shelves allow you to see everything. Gladci listenedcto my wife and didnt go for one with particule wood shelves.

Great for my 20 gallon aquarium which weighs about 275 lbs full.Easy to assemble, only set back is plastic clips should probably be metal!!!! But so far so good!!!!!

They were easy to assemble. Fit into the space I wanted. Received in a timely manner!

The only reason why I’m writing a review instead of returning it is I finally got it put together. The plastic sleeves were pretty cheap so not much resistance when trying to lightly hammer the shelves into place. Had to take off a shelf multiple times due to one of the sleeves sliding down out of line. Shelves themselves are decent. Just not sure it will hold the weight listed.

Easy to put together, attractive stainless steel construction, holds quite a bit of weight. Would be easy to clean. We used it for tools, but we have another one in our kitchen for bowls, pots, pans and hanging small cooking utensils on. Adds a nice contemporary look to our traditional kitchen. We added wheels onto the posts for ease.

1st easy to assemble

Plastic Taper sleeves to hold in place, that is crazy! The shelf slips right past them pushing them down doesn’t hold at all. What were they thinking? Will try to return it

I purchased a number of these to organize my garage and recently purchased one to help organize my dad’s tools. They are easy to assemble and adjust. I recommend having a rubber mallet handy should you need to make any adjustments with the shelves. This product is versatile, sturdy, and worth they money to help you organize any space in your home.

The instructions were simple and did not work for the shelf. The plastic clips kept sliding down on the poles on the bottom shelf even when held with channel locks while pounding the shelf down with a mallet like it said. Couldn't get the clips to hold even long enough to turn the shelf upright without it falling apart and cutting my arm. I made about six attempts to get the bottom shelf on before I gave up bleeding all over the shelf. Junk Alert!

God I hate these racks. On the first one, the plastic shims pop out of the groove before the shelf gets tight. So the shelf doesn't really lock in place. I know this design has been around for years, but the original used metal shims, not plastic. These are crap. The second rack I tried has one of the poles manufacturing backwards, so the grooves do not line up with the other posts. Its all going back.

Very sturdy and using it for my 10 gallon aquarium top with a 20 long aquarium in the middle. Holds it with no problem or sign of strain.

I shopped all over on-line but was very wary of buying a metal shelf because most reviews tended to focus on the units not being sturdy. I was able to see this one in the store and satisfied that it will hold up. It keeps all the scraps of lumber in my shop (boards, not firewood, mind you!) and I can pull it out for more shop room and then store it back when done. It keeps everything off the floor to make clean-up easy. I have seen sturdier ones at work for many times the price and was very happy with the performance and cost of this one.

Great shelf to put your small appliances. I'm just sorry that didn't buy this sooner.

The shelves are rated @ 350# each. The 29 gallon shown on top is about 345# and it has held well for over a year now. The bottom shelf is holding a 225#, 20 gallon with no issue.

I had used for plantings, I tried plastic shelving before but it wasn't adjustable. Its great that these are adjustable. Its not as easy as I'd like to move a shelf , it takes a few minutes, but its a option. the shelves are strong and offer good space. The assembly was easy.

Looked around for something g to put my plants on on my backyard patio where they would be up high so they could be in the sunlight. For the price this was the best option :) going back for a second one to replace a wood shelf I’m currently using

This thing was extremely heavy obviously but still easy to lift and put together for a small person like me. I currently use it for starting my seedlings and the shelves are easy to hang my grow lights from. I like that you can adjust the height from the screws on the bottom and that the shelves all came in straight, no bent metal or anything. I would recommend picking it up if you want it in good condition.

Easy to build, looks good

If you own a sanding belt or have access to one and know how to use it, this modification works great to create stackable units. I purchase two and doubled them. I wouldn't do any more than that unless you secure to the wall. Mod took about 30 minutes.

Shelf has eight support poles that need to be connected with 4 male and 4 female threads; my product arrived with 5 female and 3 male threads, making assembly impossible.

The HDX wire shelves (I ordered a 5-tier, 72" high model) are easily assembled, readily configured (in terms of shelf location), and sturdy.
