Met expectations. Medium difficulty to assemble - recommend two people for certain steps. Be careful when inserting the stems the turn-to-lock deals twist into - need to be straight. Don't reef on the twist deals that lock into the stems or they'll break. Parts are all bagged and labeled which is nice. Assembly is straight forward but will take 2-3 hours. Final product looks and functions great (except one drawer was a bit crooked which I adjusted by moving screws because there is no built-in adjustment). Storage is deep so be prepared to get on knees to dig stuff out of the back.

The top on the island has warped and is pulling away from the bottom. I have only had it a year!! So very disappointed!!! Feel like it was a waste of money. It looks like "cheap" but I know it was not. I am going to say poorly made. Wish I would have spent my money on something else now!

The delivery had me worried. It came in two separate delivery day's with no tracking on second delivery. The quality of packaging is excellent. Also, directions where easy to follow. Quality of cabinet is of average grade, granite top is acceptable. However, there were minor imperfections in the granite. I could see polishing/ sanding marks. Never the less, It still is acceptable. I did have to do minor adjustment on pull drawers lining up reveals / gap's. It's not a big deal especially if you like perfection. So, if your not handy you might struggle with adjustments / building it. Overall, great packaging well designed ease of assemble / direction. PRICE POINT MATCHES QUALITY. I WOULD RECOMMEND BUYING (four and half out of five star's) If it your style, you should be happy with your purchase:)

Two Person Job putting together, cam locks supplied are useless, they will strip before they lock. For the price you think it would a better engineered small part. The unit is too solid to have such cheap locks to hold it together

Overall excellent product. Not hard to put together. Came in record time.

The island is great after you go to the hardware store to get new cam locks. The ones they send are worthless cheap pewter. They bend before you can get the pieces together and fall out. Wasted 2 hours fighting them. Frustrating when you spend this much for an island and they can't spend 10 bucks for quality locks.

We were SO excited to get this island; however, even though my husband is good at assembling things the sections kept falling apart because the cam locks would NOT WORK. After 2 hrs. of total frustration it was not worth ordering new parts.

The only reason I am giving it a 4 star is because of the color. Not white for sure. Not even what I would consider and antique white. More cream with a hint of yellow. It is the yellow that throws this off. I think I have to return it only because of the color. I have opened the boxes and all look good but just disappointed in the color. The top is beautiful!

Seems to be well made it's heavy but not too hard to pickup and move with two people. The finish is nice it came well packaged without damage. Instructions were plenty clear and easy enough to follow. The leaf is very sturdy when extended. Would not have any problem recommending this to someone.

This item came without directions and parts..it was missing the inside of the 2 drawers and they sent 2 left doors when it should have been a right and left door..however when we notified Home Depot we immediately received the directions and it was a process to receive the correct parts but they were received within 2 weeks..I would run from purchasing this really expensive item and a 12 hour process of putting chairs and kitchen bar together.

The island was relatively easy to assemble. The directions were easy to read and follow. There was a crack in two of the parts. I called the manufacturer and they told me that replacements would be sent out right away. I received the replacements in three days. The customer service was exceptional. I would buy their products again with no hesitation. The finished product is beautiful. I would recommend this island for sure.

This island will take 2 people to put it together or 1 super human being. Instructions are clear and easy to follow however. It is very heavy and sturdy. I had a problem with the granite top but the customer service people at Homestyles were super helpful. They sent a new top to me and it was delivered the next day.

Assembly was fairly easy but it did that 21/2 hours to complete…..but the whole family enjoys it!

It arrived in 3 boxes but the instructions were clear and I had i assembled by myself within an hour. It is as sturdy and beautiful as I wanted. Definitely would buy again and recommend.

the pictures look nice, I haven't assembled this yet so I'm not sure how nice it is. but it seems reviews are a top priority in today's society, so here it is.
