Says in description it is "extra wide " . At best it is a normal width . The amount of tacks in the strips were at a minimum . But it did do the job.

Stuff is to narrow and has a lot of bows in it

Good price, don't split easily and grabs the carpet well. Have used them for years

It’s good wood quality but the wood nails is very thin doesn’t hold tight

Some strips were missing tacks and others had the nails facing the wrong way. They are over priced for the quality

Good that I got these tack strips for a discount price box was open, but make sure you know how to use these strips

I've been a full time carpet installer for 32 years and I can honestly tell you that this particular tack strip is trash. I don't even waste my money on this brand anymore. Missing nails, poorest quality tack strip on the market. Anything that says "contractor grade" on the packaging is guaranteed to be junk in my opinion. Spend $3.00 more per box and buy from an actual carpet supply company and you'll have something decent to work with.
