Living room
I got this installed in my living room back in 2021. It replaced a light fixture we were planning to get rid of for a long time. Home Depot delivery came smooth, no damaged parts. Great air circulation and cools down the room very well, so much that medium is a speed to be satisfied with. No wobble or noise. Thanks Home Depot!

Follow the instructions easy to install. You will need two people if vaulted ceiling. I was able to do it by myself. Mom was pleased with the way it looked in her house.

Great Fan for the Price
I bought two of these fans and overall I am very pleased. I wanted fans without remotes that I could wire with two separate switches, which these can do. The price was very reasonable and even came with the three 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs as well. The only issue I had was I had a trouble with one light kit connection and ended up bypassing it with a wire nut. I would definitely recommend!

Definitely worth the price! Totally recommended
I bought this fan for my sons room to replace a old, slow, underpowered ceiling fan. He said he said wanted a 52” fan because the last one was 42”. It is a amazing fan! The only problems are the wires are to long and the light was a pain to install.

I like it’s appearance! It’s a great blend with any decor. I like the open globe, makes it easy to change out the light bulbs. I like the chain decor and that they are long enough to reach. I purchased 3 on May 22, 2021 and they meet my expectations.

Bought it to match existing fan. Love that I can eventually install a remote control. One of the wire nuts in the motor wiring came loose during install which I was not pleased about (had to fix it myself with my own wire nut) but that’s not enough to give it a bad rating. Personal opinion: install the light fixture before hanging the fan. Be to make sure the blades are all level if you are having an imbalance problem by loosening/tightening the two screws where the fan blade attaches to the motor.

The fan doesn't have the switch in the housing to switch the fan on & off with the pull chain - there are 4 loose wires instead. This fan is pretty much useless. I've bought these same fans before & never had an issue with any of them. This is ridiculous....now I have to deal with returning this one & getting another one. Doesn't anyone pay attention anymore?

Updated my bedroom and needed a new fan as the last one didn't work properly. Wanted something not so...blah. Picked this one with the nickel because it was unique looking and fit in my budget. With the help of a friend it installed in about an hour (due to mounting issues from the old fan). I've had it about a month and it works even better than I expected. The motor is so quiet that I can't wait until summer when I'll get to use it everyday.

I Love My Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan
I live in an apartment building. Many of my neighbors had ceiling fans in their apartments for years, and I never had a ceiling fan. I went to Home Depot in Washington, D.C. last Friday night 12/11/20 to look at some ceiling fans. I saw this particular fan and I decided to purchase it for the affordable price. I loved the dark chocolate color because it matches my furniture and blinds. I am not good at installing things and I wanted my ceiling fan to be install safely and correct. An electrician was working in my building and I paid him to install my new ceiling fan. It only took him about 40 minutes to install my ceiling fan and he knew what he was doing. He rarely had to follow the instructions. This is the perfect Christmas gift to myself.

Decent Fan
I bought this fan in Oct of 2019, just got time to put it up today September 2020, and light worked fan did not.I then took it back apart and traced through wiring and found the factory wiring that had not been hooked up (black wire to fan) connected it and fan is working.will have to see if fan stands test of time, however it is clear factory quality control missed this.

WOW! This fan is a little dynamite. It is big enough for what I wanted it for. It's pretty, quiet and the price was right. I love my little fan. It's quiet on all three settings. I mean you can hear it on the highest setting but it's not annoying. I want to to get the oil rubbed color as well. Got it for a room that's about 10×10. My friend said I should have gotten the 52" but I just think that would have been too big.

I never installed a ceiling fan before. It was easy once I got a decent pair of wire cutter/strippers. Use an electric screw driver where you can and save your arms! I bought the smaller one of these for my kitchen and they both look great, work, and are super quiet. Hopefully they will last for years to come.

Very good quality and easy installation. Wiring was simple and the entire project took under 1 hour. Pirce was excellent ans since it was not in the local HD store, shipping to my home was free and took only 4 days. Another feature was the reversible blades which give you the option to select between a darker or lighter wood color
I did put it onto a fan and light controller switch for ease of operation. If you do plan to do this, the enclosed LED bulbs are not dimmable so you will need to buy dimmable bulbs if you plan to use this option.

Terrible design
Getting the wires for the light fixture shoved in the box while standing on a ladder is nearly impossible! This is by far the WORST ceiling fan I have ever installed

Main bearing shaft failure after 4 months
Unfortunately, I had the main bearing shaft go bad on my Glendale fan after about 4 months after I installed it. One day it started to make a very noticeable oscillating noise. I checked the blades and blade arms and found them to be firm and attached. I removed the fan blades and the noise persisted. On the slowest speed I could see the noise was in sequence with movement of the plate that the fan blade arms are attached to. When I turned the fan off I could wiggle the fan blade arm attachment plate, which made the noise. I then checked all the other fans in my house and found that the plates, which are attached to the main drive shaft and bearings, are not supposed to wiggle.
Fortunately, I was able to take the fan back to Home Depot, and they gave me store credit right then and there. I basically got an even exchange for a Hampton Bay ROCKPORT, and so far so good. The Rockport is virtually silent and is perfectly balanced! I sure hope this Rockport is trouble free!
