These are perfect for mounting to a 4x4 post or any type of wall. It appears from the picture that it would bend easily but it has a 45 degree brace underneath to keep it rigid. Nice powder coat paint job and takes up less space than the plastic type. My only objection is that our local store showed 15 in stock on the internet and had none when I went there. It's a non-order item according to the HD rep so I had to travel 20 miles to another store.
