This is a great product and makes adding rebar quite simple. Suggest it be stocked locally.

I like these rebar chairs, but getting rebar snapped into it can be a little difficult if the rebar isn't pristine. Even with some surface rust on the rebar, I found that whacking the rebar right next to them with a framing hammer generally popped it into place, but occasionally the rebar would hang up on the plastic and want to bend the top of the chair rather than snap in. Occasionally I had to slip a screwdriver or other thin object in to spread the chair opening to be able to get the rebar in, so a little more taper on the gozinta plastic would probably help. Otherwise, though, they are sturdy and keep things nicely spaced. I found that placing a chair at every other intersection worked great, plus it saved a bunch of chairs and was still plenty strong. The attached phot shows a recent project - a concrete ceiling for a vault.

This is nice and stable to hold rebar, i used it for the driveway. The other one that are a single post tip over. I have more to do ,and will be getting more of these..

Tore up a sidewalk that was not level (erosion) and a small slab that was broken. Very easy to set. Used 3/8" rebar that worked just fine.

These Hercules 1-1/2 in. Rebar Chairs worked out great for us. I would use them again. The rebar can be tuff or tough :) to "snap" into the holder. BUT, we learned quickly ROTATE the rebar as you attempt to snap it into the holder. This made the job much easier. Other than being tough to snap they are great. Yes, I would recommend. Ordered, arrived and installed and worked as expected. Yes you could walk on the crossed rebar and not break or move them as we poured the concrete. Thanks Home Depot!

Idea is great as a alternative to tying hundreds of overpayments but didn’t hold the rebar very well and of course didn’t find this out until we started pouring. Luckily we had ties and were able to secure most of the mats but won’t make that mistake again

Super Strong and made in the USA. These were awesome for placing rebar without ties. I used these on top of a vapor barrier and ridgid foam. The wide base never punctured the vapor barrier or pushed into the foam. They stood up to 5 men walking all over them while placing the concrete without a problem. My rebar and tubing was held firmly in it's proper place

This was a great product, which say this a lot of time and money. I highly recommend this product for any customer who is planning on pouring concrete.

Th 1/2" rebar used snapped right in and held tight. As I was using materials on hand, like wire mesh, I ted that over the rebar. Chairs worked great, just the right height for my concrete depth with the radiant tubing on top. Also used it in a short drive with 3/8" rebar. Still worked good for height, but had to wire tie those pieces as expected.

These were listed as being 1 1/2" chairs, however, the 1 1/2" height is at the top of the lower rebar in the chair. When used to cross rebars for a square grid, the top of the upper rebar is at 2" above the base of the chair. I was pouring a 4" slab so the 2" was OK, but I would rather see them market the product using the upper rebar dimension. Seems to me that would be the most important dimension.

This product saved 10's of hours in setup and tying re-bar. I only wish it was stocked at at least one store in a major metropolitan area. Ordering online is a pain.

Great product. Might want to use a concrete vibrator to make sure all the concrete is in and under them. Easy to use, and can walk on the rebar. A+

Exactly what was needed and easy to set.

Did a 40' x 30' foundation prep with 2' grid. These chairs made it super simple and they're very beefy and sturdy. Easy to adjust, no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend them

So easy and so solid. 30 feet square 12 inch spacing less than half an hour.

Pretty dang sturdy. Worked well

So much quicker and easier than using dobies with tie wires. If you need to reposition some rebar, just unsnap and relocate. No having to untwist multiple wires. Used on my garage slab pour. Wish I had used these chairs when I poured the foundation footers.
