I got these to use w/ shelves mounted on walls w/ wall paper. I wanted to drill 1 & be done. I tried 7 toggles for just 3 of the 24 holes I intended to use them. 3 toggles had their plastic wall insert separate from the toggle & the other 4 would not align with the screw. I was able to start using the screw but it would stop, cross thread, & the screw would bounce vs going thru the intended hole. This caused the 1/2” hole to expand making it useless, now I must re wallpaper & patch the holes

DO NOT BUY THESE. The screws are cheap metal that you can not put any torque on at all. The plastic pull tab breaks before you have it tight then metal back is smooth so would not grip the back of the drywall. I installed grap bars using 18 of these and from the first to the last they all were poor quality! It says "fast installation" but they cost me over an hour extra to remove each one that failed.

Worked perfectly for my needs. Hung a 5 place guitar holder like a dream.

Very easy to install. I simply followed the directions on the package. Seems to hold the weight fine. No issues.

Overall these work well most of the time. I did have one where I had to cut it loose, I could not get the screw to start without cross threading. Making sure the backer rod is sitting flush to the backside of the wall is key before securing the zip tie. Also the white piece on the zip tie should be sized easily in a 1/2" hole or a slightly undersized hole. I core drilled through a tiled wall. It was difficult to get the white retainer to fit into the hole in the tile. Maybe the core drill make undersized holes. A larger flange on the white retainer and diameter would make installing these easier. In drywall this is not an issue.

These things are junk. Hard to get them to turn so the flat side is against the wall and don’t pull on the plastic tab too hard as it will just rip right off the flip piece. The Togglers brand hollow wall fasteners that you used to carry were far superior. These are trash.

I was skeptical when i bought these because of the one strap pulley. Most other toggles that i’ve used have 2 straps to pull tightly. Unfortunately this product didn’t work well due to this problem. I couldn’t get the nut tight on the wall with the one pull strap. Several of them broke off. I will be returning what is left of the broken pieces. Product did not work as expected.

Terrible product. After placing item through drywall and pulling plastic into place. Once you try and thread screw in with a little too much pressure the back piece just falls off. Bought a 12 pack and only 3 of them installed correctly.

The plastic zip tie breaks way too easily leaving the anchor in the wall. On one of them, the screw was already in the anchor partially so when the plastic zip tie broke I couldn't unscrew it from the anchor. I had to chip away at the nut with some snips so I could push the screw through the wall. I bought twelve, out of the first 4 holes I was using these for 3 broke. Horrible experience.

Absolute garbage. The instructions are poorly written. The plastic is fragile I went through several to learn how to use them and once I got the knack, it was obvious these could never hold 50 pounds. Let alone the 600 pounds advertised. I switched to EZ Toggle.

I am a maintenance electrician and have used and recommended a different brand -- thought I would try these instead. What a waste. They're harder to install, and the plastic collar and metal toggle doesn't line up as easily with only one plastic pull. The screw starts in the plastic but if the metal toggle isn't lined up perfectly it will just get pushed off and fall. After several tries in a tight spot I game up and dug out an "old fashioned" wing toggle bolt to finish the installation.

Low rating due to the fact that the plastic pull strap breaks easily when installing, and the plastic plug does not readily pull tight to the drywall.

As others have reported, the zip tie is too weak. The metal piece falls into your wall before you get a chance to connect to it. The instructions make it sound easy, but the tool simply does not work. I have only been able to connect the screw to the end piece on 1 of 6 attempts. The plastic grommet is hard to push when you get near to the wall. This product is rubbish. Home Depot should be embarrassed to carry such a poor product on their shelves.

Zip tie break too easy. If there is anything in the wall like insulation it probably won’t work. I just used regular toggle after these broke. Great idea but I don’t think works well….

I followed the instructions exactly and didn't have any trouble with hardware QC or the strap breaking. Drilling a neat 1/2" hole first helps to set the bushing just right. Make sure the toggle is pulled snug against the bushing before breaking off the strap. I especially appreciated being able to remove and reinsert the screw during installation without losing the anchor inside the wall. The hold feels very strong and solid, much more so than any other style of anchor I've used.

The most heavy duty anchor I could find for my plastor walls. Worked perfectly and can hold some serious weight. Will be buying again.

Not a bad idea until the metal part breaks off from the zip tie and falls down behind the wall. The 9 out of 12 that did stay in place work very well.

I can’t tell you how much time has been wasted trying to use these anchors. You can do everything right and these anchors will still fail. So far, out of 4 packages we average 1 out of every 4 anchors actually works. The down side of that is that you’ll go to mount something, the first anchor will grab and then the next two won’t. So you have to remove whatever you’re mounting and reevaluate. And with a 1/2” hole in the wall your options are limited. For 120lbs rating in drywall I mean..

Easy to install, very strong, work as they're designed. Much better than the Snap Toggle that kept breaking prematurely.
