This is a must for anyone with small children. The Hangman Furniture Anti-Tip Kit is easy to install and comes with everything you need. I installed this on a tall and narrow dresser in my child's room to prevent it from tipping over. This small safety item is so essential in a child's room. I really appreciate how easy Hangman has made it to secure furniture to help prevent them from tipping over. Installation is easy. You screw one side of the hardware into the back of the furniture piece and the other side into a stud in the wall. There is the connector which joins the two hardware components and attaches the furniture to the wall.

Missing locking pins.

This anti-tip kit is super sturdy and really easy to install. I have used other kits and this one is by far the best. No cheap plastic pieces or brackets. I have a tall linen cupboard and a couple of my grandkids are climbers. I feel much better knowing the cupboard won't tip over on to one of them if they decide to climb up on it. I will be replacing the other ones with this kit. Highly recommend it!

I ordered this device for what I consider a "high risk" application - The Kid's Room at a Tahoe Vacation rental. We bought a new chest of drawers which also included space for a media center, so you know it would be the center of attention for children, who will likely be unsupervised. This device is just what we needed! It is VERY heavy duty and strong, giving me the peace of mind needed to know that children can't hurt themselves.

A great kit for book cases and other furniture you may want to secure against a wall. It's ability to use a clip system make it simple to temporarily remove and reattach.

I got this kit to insure a large and heavy mirror balanced on my fireplace would not fall. When used properly this kit works. First, I had to pre-drill the screw holes into the mirror frame because it was made of hardwood. The fireplace mantel is made of oak so I had to pre-drill it too. After mounting the cable and bracket, the mirror was secured. I recommend this simple solution to securing heavy objects from falling.

This review is for The Hillman Group Hangman Furniture Anti-Tip Kit (Model # 121192). I have two very active little kids in the house. When you have children around, you need to put strap on everything, especially tall cabinet, dresser, and tv stand. I just bought a dresser for my little one so this anti-kit comes in perfect timing. Installation was easy and it really holds the furniture in place.

I highly recommend this Hangman Furniture Anti-Tip Kit! I have been wanting to secure the top of secretary desk that has a book case on it for years as I have almost toppled it more than once! Now I have peace of mind that I won't bring down the book shelf on my head! It sits on top of the desk on a narrow shelf and just isn't as stable as I would like. This was easy to install. I did not want to drill a hole inside my antique book case so I secured it to the top where no on can see it. It is rated to hold 400 pounds! The steel cable and mounting bracket are very well made. Great product if you have kids, climbers or live in earth quake country!

I can say even if you don't have kids like mine who are trying to climb on anything this is an absolute necessity and should be included as a generic install kit on all light furniture. I really liked the design of it. Other kits rely on attaching the bracket on the back side of the piece of furniture which in the case of metallic TV stands and MDF type of furniture is not sturdy enough to hold a lot of force. This design quadruples the force needed to topple over the furniture just by attaching the bracket to the side. Very smart and efficient, I am not sure how nobody came up earlier with that idea. It may not sound like much but imagine the force needed to shear a screw versus the force needed to pull out screw from wood. this is precisely the advantage of this kit. And when you have a kid and expensive TV set on the line it is pretty self explanatory why you need this. I like the quality and design and to me using non-rusting metal cable is indicative of the top quality that the manufacturer put into this product.

I purchased the anti-tip kit for book shelves that I bought from Home Depot to start a library for a homeless center. Due to the fact that it is a homeless center I can not at this time post a picture. I am going to purchase more of these as I am very soon going to buy more book shelves for the center.

Exactly what we needed. All parts were there, after reading reviews I checked each package to make sure everything was present before purchase. We have these on all our dressers in my master and my toddlers room, where he is able to get to just as an added security.

Home Depot sold us a returned product so it was missing a part. This was an online order so we were not able to choose the one we wanted. So we were not able to use the product. Meant to return it but had a way to busy schedule.

The product is great, easy to install. The packaging needs improvement, I purchased 5 packs and 3 of them were missing parts. The blister pack opened and parts were missing. I returned the ones that were missing parts for a full refund and an apology from the return person. The packaging needs an upgrade!
