Installed this with no problem in mid-May. It worked very well until yesterday. I put it in breeze mode. I thought my wife turned it off, but she said she hadn't. So I tried turning it on and it will not turn on. It will dod the stutter thing like it wants to run, but it will not run. I called the Home Depot Help center, but got disconnected after 10 minutes. Help center was a useless endeavor. The fan when it was working was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Really disappointed it stopped working.

First of I want to start by saying that this is a really great fan! I would love to give it 5 stars but I cannot because of one small issue. The pros are that it has a super quiet motor, it is energy efficient, it is attractive, the 9-speed setting is a great feature, and it effectively cools down a room. My reason for purchasing this face is because it was reasonably priced at around $200 on sale, I wanted to save money on A/C costs (which I have), and I needed a fan that had a silent motor and would not be disruptive to my sleep, which brings me to the reason for three stars instead of five.The cons are that this fan made an intermittent ticking or clicking noise which was disruptive to sleep. Fortunately I was able to find the source of the ticking and get it to stop, although this required me to open up the motor housing of the fan and tape down some of the components that were contributing to this noise. I do not know if all models of this fan have this problem or if I just got a defective one. Either way, I was able to fix this issue but it did require a good amount time doing some detective work to find the source of the noise. Additionally, it would be nice if the fan came with a light kit or another more attractive canopy cover. I had to spend an extra $50 on a light kit. If the fan did not tick out of the box or were lower cost based on not having a light kit, then I would gladly give it 5 stars.

Love this fan.. I have it in our home. We just bought a condo for our son.. He wanted a different look and this fits right in with the coffee house vibe. They put out tons of air movement. Perfect!

Easy to assemble and install. I like the look of the fan. Would add to description of matte white to include blades are unfinished light beige wood.

The fan is very quiet, the color is great and the fan installed very easily. It operates a little differently than the regular AC motor version but I’ll get used to it. It has a nice remote and will work great as the fan is too high to easily change speed or direction.

Absolutely love the look of this fan. The blades have the weathered look while the motor is white. Looks great in our beach house. We were looking for a large fan for a 20x25 foot room and this one perfectly fit our imagination. The remote control for the fans speed makes changes easy.

Great fan bought three 68” ones and couldn’t be more pleased. DisappointedI the 48” ones were not available when I needed additional fans in other rooms of my new home.

The fan is very large. It looks great in a large room with a tray ceiling.

Installed and less than 2 weeks it is stopping on it's own and making cracking sounds.

We replaced an older 52" span living room fan. This fan is extremely quiet and pushes a lot of air. My wife loves it so much she now wants to replace our bedroom fan with this fan. We have a vaulted ceiling so I had my neighbor help me ... climbing ladders isn't my thing! It installed fairly quickly. We ordered the Hampton Bay Altura LED Ceiling Fan Light Kit. It provides a lot of light. My wife isn't a huge fan of the look, but it does provide a lot of light and is controlled by the fan remote. I like having a remote to control the fan. You have to use the remote, it will not operate from just a wall switch. The only issue we had was the first light kit we got had the wrong connectors on it. I got a different one and it was a breeze to connect ... pun intended!

Have had this fan in our last 2 houses. Bought for out new condo.

Love this fan so much we bought a second one for living room! These fans are literally silent and move a ton of air!! Don't hesitate... you'll love it too! I have a white and a black one.

These are going in my new house being built. Six years ago I purchased three of these but in the brushed nickel. They are still running, and I use them everyday. I live in Florida where you actually use ceiling fans, everyday! I plan to buy even more of these fans. I would never buy a fan without a remote, either. These are just that good. I love them.

Fan is quiet and appears as shown in photo. However the blades do not fit as smoothly around the motor as they should have and one blade has a chip in the wood where the center screw attaches. Big issue is the written instructions - they are wrong. Overall a good product.

Easy to assemble and looks good

We love this fan! It is really classy without being too polished. It puts out a lot of air and you never hear it. We have two, one in huge den and one on sunroom. Both are the 68” in white. Blades match our whitewashed flooring beautifully.

The fan for that price was a steal, good quality, works great and no problems putting it together. This makes my third fan from this name brand.

Super easy to install! Easiest fans I've ever put up! Blows an immense amount of air. This one went into a beach house so we went for the more washed look. I have the same one in a darker color in my main house for nearly 4 years and it has functioned flawlessly. Wish it had a holder for remote tho

Beautiful fan and does a great job with air circulation in a very large room with 20 foot high ceiling. Install couldn't have been easier. Putting scaffolding up and down was most time consuming part of the install. Natural wood colored blades complement the room nicely. Very happy with fan.

Love the look of the fan and it is very quiet. Wish it had a higher speed though.

Love it. Works amazing. Blows all kinds of fresh cold air around the room. This is definitely a focal piece. Gold is a beautiful brushed gold. Looks like quality.

Nine speeds and moves the air like a beast if you want it to! We've had it on constantly since we bought it, with speeds between one and about five. It's beautiful, installed easily (apart from hanging it from a 22 foot ceiling) and the family loves it.
