Great quality and looks nice

I have only had the fan up for about a week and so far so good and it is working great! Does everything that I had hoped it would do, I use it outside on the porch and is a welcome addition to said porch!

We bought two of these a year ago to replace the traditional ceiling fans on our back porch. One was defective upon delivery and had to be taken back for replacement. The fans have sway or sideways swivel motion that can be turned on or off via the remote. This was the problem... the fan would not swivel. It was not a problem with the remote, but rather the gears that allow the fan to swivel (you could hear them grinding, trying to mesh). Our local Home Depot was very helpful and had a replacement fan for pick-up the very next day. Yesterday, one of the fans stopped swiveling (after 15 months of operation). I can only imagine that the internal gears responsible for the swivel motion are cheaply made and give out easily. At least this has been our experience. I would expect more from a $200 fan. Once again, Home Depot was very helpful and offered to replace the fan at no charge. I can only hope that the new fan will last longer that 15 months. The manufacturer needs to beef up the swivel mechanism with some quality gears. It's a shame, because otherwise the fans really look great and produce quite a good breeze.

Works exactly as we had hoped. It’s perfect for our covered patio!

This fan worked fine for about a month... now the oscillation is so jerky, I had to turn it off. I’ve tried to call HD to get a resolution. No answer, left on hold or disconnected.I wrote a detailed email to customer care, only to get a email back, asking me to call the store.I have never experienced such blatant disregard of customer service In my life. Now I have a fan, that I paid to install... that is not working. I would appreciate if someone would get back to me.

The fan looks nice, as pictured. However, it should not be described as "oscillating" as it does not rotate on its axis as you would expect. Rather, its "oscillation" is through the angle shown in the photo, oscillating to point down and swing to the other side. Additionally, the maximum tilt is what's shown in the photo—it does not tilt up further. These two characteristics made this fan completely unusable for our space, as it mostly pointed straight beneath it instead of out.

I need to return it it stopped working

Perfect for our gazebo area by pool. Just wanted a fan only that looked good. I love that it has 4 speeds plus you can change the direction.

I had no idea that this fan would not oscillate back and forth.,, it only goes up and down. It’s a very powerful little fan!

Oscillating feature broke after 2 weeks. In process of contacting company to seek resolution. If I get replacement part or unit, I will have to pay for labor to repair or replace.

We installed 3 fans 2 of them the blades flew off same day due to factory installed parts missing, set screws to hold blade came off and we cannot find replacement parts as the factory installed parts are not listed in the parts brochure.

Looks great but the fan doesn't tilt enough from side to side. If it wasn't already installed, I would return it. Not worth the cost.

This fan is awesome

The fan is excellent, but I can’t use it a screw is missing. We ordered the screw and it takes 10 days for it to arrive. Besides that, just the fact the person we spoke to, was really no help. He treated us as if We were lying . We still have not received the screw So no I was not impressed.

We installed the fan on our patio for air circulation. It does the job! The remote control is a nice convenience for easy use.

Me and my wife fell in love with this style, so we had it proffesionally installed installed in our new house. It ran great for about 5 months and the the occillation stopped. It has a lifetime warranty but when i made a claim, they emailed me directions to bypass the remote. In my mind that still leaves me with a defective part i purchased at an exspensive price. I let them know what kind of a joke i thought there customer service was and i would not be purchasing anymore of that brand product. Hope this helps people on future decisions.

Love this fan! We put it on our screened deck. It circulates air between the two doors into the house perfectly.

Love the fan, hate that it took an extra step and installing twice. The first one did not fully function and had to be replace. Which was not pleasurable!

We purchased this fan for our covered porch. It really was not what we expected but we installed it and it worked. Less than one week after installation it has broken. The fan itself works but does not oscillate. It clicks and makes a loud noise. Complete waste of money. Poor quality product. We are completely disappointed and are stuck with a useless product.

Worse fan ever. I would return but I tossed the box and went through a lot of trouble to mount. Low is loud like a jet engine. Can not be used comfortably and the amount of air compared to the amount of noise is horrible. Sounds like a jet but blows like a kitten...medium and high are very little difference. More air but with more noise and not enough to offset the noise. It is practically non usable because of this. I guess for a shop or garage it may be okay but there are better cheaper fans for that application. This one is literally horrible. DO NOT BUY ….

Our experience with Home Depot online has been excellent. We had no problems with ordering and receipt of our fan. We just got our fan installed, and are totally pleased with the way it looks and functions on our screened back porch. We are renovating an old farm house, and this fan looks right at home. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that we didn't do the installation ourselves, as we had a contractor, and we haven't had it long enough to attest to its durability.
