Splinters easy be careful. Fairly easy to install. Very hard. Color was ideal. Got it sooner than expected.

Love it installed glued down to concrete slab in all dry areas of my house. Beautiful color easy to work with. It dose scratch but not with normal use and I have 4 dogs. Had to be sure and putfelt pads in all furnature legs. For the price it’s 10,0000 times better than laminate.

This product is very expensive to install. We put in 550 sq feet and had to get 4 buckets of glue at $150 each. The product looks beautiful when done but install was hard the glue gets everywhere. I had to hand scrub the floor with adhesive remover after install. Not fun!! The product also scratches very easily.

Very nice flooring. Can be scratched if you're not careful when installing but holds up great to normal use and pets. Overall very satisfied with it and would definitely use it again.

I am a beginner DIY'er and I decided to go with this flooring because I have kids and the fact that this is REALLY hard compared to regular hardwood sold me on it. I could have had it installed but I like a challenge and decided to take it on myself. I am a 115lb petite young women and with very little help from my husband (mainly because I wont let him help lol) I am able to do this project!! My husband has helped a lot with some ideas (things that I overlooked) and pulling up the old flooring that was glued down...but install is all me! The color is absolutely beautiful and goes with everything. I am using the FREEMAN 18 GUAGE L CLEAT FLOORING NAILER and it is working very well. You need to order it online though because no home improvement store sells it in store. The boxes are really heavy so I had to rent a truck from HD to bring them home...also the splinters hurt...so wear gloves :) ALSO...after a ton of research online and reading a lot of installation articles...I also came across a youtuber that gave amazing tips on installation! He installs laminate flooring but it still will help a TON. This floor is beautiful! It looks amazing and we love the grayish color. However, installation is very expensive as it is a glue down only and this is the reason for my 3 stars. I would recommended but be aware of the installation cost. At first I thought you could nail it down, but nails will not penetrate this bamboo. Cudos to Home Decorations support, they answer the 1-800 number fast and provide installation support and advice. I asked if I could nail it, they said yes, but only with a 16 ga nail, we tried a 16 ga staple and it was a disaster so we ended up just using glue. This brings me to my next point, glue. Glue is extremely expensive. I spent over $1000 just on glue for about 2000 sq feet of flooring. Had I known how expensive the installation was, I would have gone with the engineered click that you can float. I am super happy at how it is turning out, and have complete piece of mind that this floor will last a lifetime as it is extremely hard and will not go out of style as it looks good with any décor. I am so glad I paid to have it installed rather than doing it myself.

This is beautiful bamboo flooring. We were scared that since we got 2 manufactured dates 03/17 & 06/17 that the flooring would be different colors BUT it was perfect! We nailed the flooring down, it didn't split. So far only one scratch(my fault oops) but nothing like a little scratch marker won't fix. We only remodeled one room in our house. I see us buying this again, if available, when we decide to remodel another part of our home.

I have three Bulldogs and there is not one scratch on this floor, it’s very sturdy very pretty and so easy to clean!!

We've had our wood floors for about a month and we love them. It was a little harder to install than we thought it would be. The look is beautiful and makes the room appear even larger. They are easy to clean, but with the dark color it does show more dirt. Since it's handscraped any imperfections that may have been caused during installation does not show up.

Horrible Quality Control and Horrible Customer Service! I really don't like to write a bad review unless it's REALLY warranted, and this is! Picked up my order for my renovations on my new home, got it home and opened all 22 cases to get the wood acclimating prior to install. A couple days later my boyfriend asked me about the scratches on the wood, and we went to look closer. I had noticed scratches on the first piece I had turned to check the color and figured it was a minor flaw in that piece. But apparently he had dug into it further despite how busy we were with everything else and found this same pattern of 3 sets of 3 "claw-like" scratches on every piece. Knowing It would look ridiculous to have the entire floor littered with black scratches upon install, something that definitely can't be hidden unless you don't want to see it anywhere, I called for a return and replacement. Lady started off good, telling me they would pick up and replace as well. Then I hear she has to charge my credit card again for the replacement order, of the same amount, but they can't refund original order until is picked up (whenever, no estimated date) and processed, 3-5 days. Since I got a new credit card specifically for this, and am in the middle of home renovation project to move in ASAP, obviously I can't afford a double charge. So it would be several weeks now before I could even begin to install the flooring that was to go in the end of his week for us to be able to move over next week. Impossible! Quality control obviously didn't exist at home decorators factory and it doesn't exist for Home Depot checking their products from their suppliers, and they put the burden of that on the customer. Now Home Depot has lost my business for the flooring as well as probably forever as a consumer who shouldn't have to suffer for their mistakes. Check your product carefully, and don't risk it if you're not willing to drag out your project for a month or more possibly!

Make sure you order all at once. I ordered one box so I could test out the durability and see the color in my house. Loved it all so I ordered 47 boxes. They arrived today and the color is WAY off of the first box. Not even close. Not sure what to do now. The board on the left is from the first box I ordered a month ago. It was manufactured in September 2016. The two boards on the right were from the shipment of 47 I rec'd today.. Paid $65 for curbside delivery and had to carry all of them in from the bottom of my driveway.. Not happy. Gave 4 stars because the product is good but the quality control is WAY off. Same product just made 3 months apart. I will update with what I do later.. Ugh !!!

Just got my floors installed and they look fantastic. Used 26 boxes of this bamboo and there were only 3 pieces out of the entire lot that had some cosmetic issues (but could still be used for cutting end pieces). Installers used a high grade glue on my cement slab floors and they feel extremely solid with no movement at all. Very clean with a touch of distressed/rustic look. Highly recommended.

It looks amazing when it is complete and was pretty easy to install. We installed it with glue on concrete and nails on upper floors. It looks modern and beautiful. The only con is that it shows every piece of dirt or dust and scratches easily. That is an easy fix with ebony stain. We were doing construction after we put the floors down which made it easy to cause minor scratches. Took a rag and wiped that spot with stain and it would completely blend. I still would rather mop everyday and have these floors. Completely worth the price.

We bought our home knowing that all of the existing flooring needed to be replaced. It took a while but we found this product and it passed our test (our large dogs heavy, chewed nylon bones could not damage it when dropping off the couch, or when my husband manually pounded the material). The hope was that after install the dogs nails would not show wear/scratches. 2 months later and plenty of dog and kid wear and tear and nothing! We installed in the Kitchen, Dining, living, master bedroom and plan to install in the remaining bedrooms. We will forgo installing in the bathrooms because of the kids and, well, no wood flooring does well in bathrooms when you have kids that seems to get more water on the floor than in the shower! We have not had any issues in the kitchen with water or dogs water. We follow the manufacturer instructions for cleaning and take care of any spills when they occur. The ease of install is average because of 1. we are not professional installers and it was hard work to install like a professional. We nailed some of the starter boards to keep things from shifting and found that pre-drilling a hole was helpful because these planks are very hard to penetrate (but for durability I think that is a good thing). Overall - excellent product just be sure to take your time and install properly or have it professionally installed. Great product, good value.

We laid 670sqft of this stuff throughout our kitchen and dining area. We installed ourselves with borrowed hardwood flooring tools (had never done it before) so it took some time to figure out the best system to install but once we did it came together nicely. We love the texture and color variation.

I loved the way this flooring looked when I purchased it. It went together easy enough--took some work, but I expected some effort. The kicker is the finish on the wood scratches extremely easy. I am very disappointed in the flooring. I will probably pursue a refund from the manufacturer. It is advertised as being super strong, but the finish doesn't represent the strength at all. Do not spend your money on this flooring. We bought a bunch of these boards to replace a 1/4" wood floor in our house that wasn't original. At first some of the boards scratched easily, which is what others had reported in reviews for these boards, but I ended up deciding that these scratches were very minor (you have to really look for them to notice them) and that they didn't bother me. The installation went fine. This was my first time ever installing tongue and groove flooring so I'm not sure if I made a mistake or not, but although we had the boards in our house for about five months before actually installing them, some of the boards still contracted AFTER being installed and left visible gaps between them that weren't there during installation... I figured that they would have been acclimated to the indoor climate after that much time. Most of the boards were all of the same length, but as I got into the project I started finding that some of the boxes of boards contained some short two-foot boards... which I didn't really understand. These short boards did not have the same "handscraped" treatment on their edges, but that wasn't really a deal breaker. I was able to use them nonetheless. Overall I'm happy with these boards so far. I only hope that they'll hold up and won't settle too much over the years.

So far we love it. Very hard flooring. We nailed into place instead of gluing it. We used a harbor freight nail gun with dewalt cleat nails. Using at least 4 nails per board. We love the color and quality of the boards. Time will be the true test. So far a 5 star.

Flooring looked fine, but it was not used. I meant to buy the click flooring with the same finish.
