Very Pleased
First let me thank everyone that wrote a review for this fan, very helpful. I really like how streamline, clean & graceful looking this fan is. It complements my bedroom but I think it would compliment any room or style with it's simplicity. Initially I was going to try to replace an existing fan with this one myself but after reading some reviews I decided to hire an electrician. He had no problems at all however he appreciated the feedback on attaching the blades. He found that making sure the screws were all the way through the blades before attaching them helped. The light is like a spotlight focusing directly downward, it's unusual but fine...I do have 2 lamps on either corner of my room should I want a lot of light. The fan itself is very quiet, there is a hum from the motor but it is very low, soothing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for quality is the difficulty required to reverse the fan. The switch is on top of the fan motor! I'm not sure what they were thinking with that but I plan on leaving it as is - directing air downward. None the less, I am very pleased with this purchase, it makes me want to update my other 3 fans.

Easy Project
It took me more time to prewire for the installation than was needed to install the unit. The light is very bright and it can be dimmed to just a glow. The wiring was pretty straight forward with out any surprises. The hanging mechanism makes the whole installation easier than I expected since there is no weight or balancing to deal with. After everything was put together I turned the breaker on and the remote did the rest. I am very pleased with this project since it looks and works great.

Nice fan, once it is finally installed!
After reading the reviews, I was expecting some difficulty with the installation. BOY were they underestimating it. I have installed many fans, but this one ranks as a total pain. First, the remote is very difficult to fit under the canopy since there is only a little room and the available space to work with is very limited. But the bad part was when it came time to install the blades. I had to drill out the holes as the screws would reach completely thru the blades to the housing. Once I finally installed the blades I turned it on.....LOUD scraping of the blades against the housing...had to shift it around a bit till it was finally quiet. Now that the nightmare installation is done, the fan is quiet and looks great. The LED light is quite bright and very well integrated into the fan. But the blades need to be better constructed so that the screws will fit thru without alteration. A customer shouldn't have to alter them to get them to attach.

Stylish and so quiet!
I read the previous reviews and went ahead anyway and ordered two. I could not be happier with these fans. We had them professionally installed and they are so quiet - you don't hear them at all. The air flow is perfect on all three speeds.

Sharp Fan!
This fan was everything I expected it to be based on reviews I have read. A few pointers for you future purchasers: Install the LED light kit before you hang the fan. This is much easier to do on the floor than over your head. Make sure you screw fan blades all the way in, the screws seem a little tight but they will stop when all the way in. Lastly the wiring is a little tight, but what fan with a remote isn't. Just take your time and all the wires will fit in the canopy fine. The light is very bright as opposed to some of the reviews I have read, but I think it is because most of us are used to incandescent lighting not LED. It took me along time to find a really sharp looking fan as most today all look the same at a $200 and under price range. The styling of this fan competes with fans more in the $300 to $400 price range. If you like the real wood blades you won't be disappointed they are beautiful.

Very stylish and unique fan
Installation was not too difficult but I did need to use a Dremel with a grinding bit to clean up the inside of one fan blade where it was rubbing against the led light in the middle.

Pretty fan that could use improvement
Pretty basic install as far as fans go. My gripe about this fan, in particular, is the quality of the blades and the light mount. Blade quality feels on the poorer side. They look excellent but don't have a precision alignment when installed. Also - the screws don't have a physical stop when mounting the blades so it's easy to screw in too far. If you purchase this fan, pay close attention to screw depth during install. The light fixture was catty-wampus after install and created a horrible scraping noise against th fan. I was about to uninstall and return when I tweaked the light housing to a position that didn't rub against the fan blades. A better quality housing and blades would have garnered this review 5 stars from me. Fan moves a decent amount of air and remote control is handy. But because of the quality of the blades it wobbles on the highest speed setting.

Beautiful! but requires troubleshooting
This was my first ceiling fan installation ever and let me tell you, it wasn't the easiest haha. However, it wasn't THAT bad. I selected the flush mount install, which others said was the worst, but I have low 8 ft ceilings and i'll say that the 3 inches saved was WELL worth it. I'll also add that we chose to add a ceiling medallion and it REALLY makes it pop even more. This fan is absolutely gorgeous!!! You won't be disappointed in appearance, that's for sure, it's a show stopper. Now for the troubleshooting... When you install the blades and finish up, there will be a noise, it rubs something. That something would be the inside of the blades scraping screws that stick out of bulb cover housing unit. Remove the light cover and tighten the screws on it as far as they go. Problem solved. Also, after a couple days of running, the fan started to make this other sound, like a constant ticking sound. It was driving me insane for two nights straight. Come to find out, I believe it was slightly uneven due to the blades (guessing b/c it sounded like it came from within the motor unit or somewhere). Oddly, screw the blades in as far as they go, they seem to stop but they actually go much further than realized. If standing above the blade level, you can see the screw come well above them on the other side. So they're significantly further in than realized. Really screw them in until it really resists. Hopefully this stays as the solution. This tightened them up very level (under 1/8th an inch) to the ceiling and the clicking seems to have stopped!!! Fingers crossed My only con...not a fan of the light. It is very interrogation room chic / spotlight. But we don't use it too much, tho I do like that you can dim it. Others have also suggested these sounds but these resulted in fixes. So...enjoy your fan, it's beautiful and you'll love it!

Great Looking Fan
I was worried about the light feeling like a spot light and not providing enought coverage for the new home office. I was plesantly surprised by the amount of coverage that I got. I've installed several fans over the years and this one was a bit tricky. I installed tight to the ceiling and it was a bit of a trick to get everything in the housing and secured before your strength wears out. Love the 3 blade look and it looks great once installed. I sit just below my fan (9 ft ceiling) and the low setting puts off just enough air to keep me cool as the afternoon heat sets in. Very quiet and seems well balanced at high speed with no adjustments needed.

Would be 4.5 if I could have given it...
It is a beautiful ceiling fan. I've had it for a couple months now, it is super quiet and very chic. Installation was not that hard, ended up using my old bracket. Enjoy the pictures. Only reason it's not a perfect five star it's because the LED cover makes the light rather dim. I have taken the covering off and it illuminate the living room very well.

Finally, not a run-of-the-mill fan
This is so much nicer than the standard fan with hanging globes and brass mounted paddle fans. The blades are awesome - high quality, gorgeous finish, perfect fit. The body also has some classic lines.. I hooked the light up to a dimmer (so just wired directly from dimmer to the blue wire going to the fan body). Without a dimmer the light would be pretty harsh. I think I might do the same thing on the motor and get rid of the remote all together. I love the way the light is surrounded by the blades. Only issue on installation is the same I've had on every fan I've installed - pushing the wires and remote receiver into the gap on top of the ball is a pain in the butt.

Great modern fan! Love it!
I installed 2 fans. The second time was much faster. I suggest pre-wiring the remote receiver to the fan while on the floor. The fan provides a hook to hang from the ceiling so you don't have to hold it up while wiring it (very helpful!) I was worried that a 52" fan would be too large. We put the fans in our guest rooms and its the perfect size. My only complaint is the remote is black. It doesn't really match anything. I've attached a picture that shows the fan and the remote attached to the wall by the light switch.

Both fans we tried to install were a flop. The remotes would not sync both the light and fan. One remote would only turn on a light and other nothing at all.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the 52” Reagan ceiling fan. We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with the remote syncing.

It sounds like the issue may be related to the dipswitch codes in the remote and receiver. For the remote and fan to communicate properly, the dipswitch codes in the battery compartment of the remote and the receiver of the fan must be set to the same pattern. We recommend changing the dipswitch codes to create a unique frequency for your fan. This should resolve the syncing issues you’ve encountered.

Please refer to the manual for detailed instructions on how to adjust the dipswitch codes. If you need further assistance, our customer service team is available to help at 1-877-902-5588. We want to ensure that your fan operates smoothly and meets your expectations.

Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. We are committed to your satisfaction and are here to help resolve any issues. HDCEdYano

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the 52” Reagan II ceiling fan. We apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced with the fan and light turning on unexpectedly.

The issue you’re describing could be caused by interference from other ceiling fans or wireless devices operating on similar frequencies. To address this, we recommend adjusting the dipswitch settings in both the receiver and the battery compartment of the remote control. Changing these dipswitches to a new, matching frequency as outlined in the owner’s manual should help eliminate any interference and stabilize the fan and light operation.

If you need assistance with adjusting the dipswitch settings or have any other questions, please refer to the owner’s manual or contact our customer service team at 1-877-902-5588. We are here to provide support and ensure your Reagan II ceiling fan operates smoothly.

Looks good but installation was tricky.
This fan looks good, but, despite decent instructions, it was extremely difficult to install. The motor housing did not easily fit over the ceiling bracket, and had to be almost literally wrestled into position. As instructed we installed the fan blades last (rather than before hanging the motor); finding the screw holes was only the first step—actually getting the screws started was a challenge all by itself. As noted, the completed installation looks good, but took much longer than fans we’ve installed. One other note: the LED light in not dimmable and cannot be replaced for a dimmable.

Pretty, but made cheaply and poorly.
The fan is pretty...only positive. Install instructions leave alot to your best guess & don’t cover a description of all of the parts and screws. Poorly constructed at the factory. Some screws forced in at an angle & wouldn’t come out requiring a work around. Other parts didn't fit correctly. Remote is cheap thin hard plastic. Climb up & flip a switch on motor to change fan direction. Would not recommend unless you are just getting it for looks and plan to replace it sooner than later.
