Malfunction inthe lighting function. Didn’t work. Had to pay installer twice to initially install ,remove ,and install new ceiling fan.

Most issues can be resolved over the phone with some minor troubleshooting to save you the time and effort of uninstalling and returning the fan.

Finally: Intelligent Fan Blade Design
This fan didn’t come eith a remote control, but that’s OK: less to go wrong and no batteries that would leak. But the nice surprise was how the fan blades get installed—you push them in, they self-align, and snap into place, period. WITHOUT ANY SCREWS! I’ve had problems before attaching fan blades with screws: they’re at an angle and are impossible to align correctly, and sometimes the threads get stripped, ruining the entire unit. Well, kudos to whoever designed this fan. I love it.

Great fan
I really like this fan a lot. I have purchased and installed 3 of them. They are easy to install and they are quiet. I took 1 star off because of the chain design. If you pull too hard and let go the chain can fly back into fan and stop the fan. This happened to me with the first one i bought. Luckily i was able to take the fan apart and remove it, as it didnt do any damage, but easily could have. Otherwise i would rate it 5 stars plus.

Do you want to spend money on replacement glass?
The fan is quiet and moves air. it looks great; however, the light is very subdued so you really have to invest in different bulbs if you want to see. I bought six of these fans for my house. Three of the six light covers will NOT BUDGE no matter what tricks I try (as other reviewers have mentioned). I called support - whose posts here look like they want to help. They do not. Their "solution" is for me to spend money on replacement covers, including $27 for shipping alone.

We are sorry to hear that you have had this issue with the light shades. To remove the light shade, it may help to knock lightly around the edges and then push up when unscrewing the shade from the light kit pan.
