Bought two of these to put around my sump holes. It’s absolute piece of mind knowing if one of my sump pumps fail, I’ll be alerted and can address the situation. It’s a small price to pay vs a flooded basement and clean-up that would follow.

That is always disconnected i never find that connected! But i am not sure if the problem if wifi or the device.

Maybe I'll change my mind if I ever get it set up... be aware that it ONLY works with 2.4 GHZ network. Not compatible with 3G or 5G. Not happy.

I have several of these around our farm. They do detect leaks, but occasionally decide to go offline. Sometimes they reconnect in a day or two, and sometimes they are offline for a week or more. The app feels to me like it was written by a teenager. It gives me inaccurate weather, even though it knows my location. (Why do I need this to tell app me the weather anyways?) There is no way to remove a leak detector from the app--I'm stuck with a leak detector that went missing 2 years ago. When a device is offline, you can't see any information at all, like the previous battery level. The app seems to think that geofencing is a good idea, as if I was the only person in the house. It seems to be bugging me less about geofencing than it used to, but geofencing is a stupid idea that only a teenager would think is useful. One of the leak detectors just beeped 5 times. For no reason, and there is nothing in the so-called manual that refers to 5 beeps. Overall, it's a good product, with lousy support.

Great device for detecting water leak and freeze protection with notification sent to your phone.

Easy setup. Tested it before locating it in the sump pump pit. Like that I can remotely check temp. and humidity on the app. Info on same page as our Honeywell thermostat.

When I got the device it was already configured for someone else's network. I had to call the support line with the MAC address and get them to reset that and then wait three days before I could use it. I also do not like the way these devices only update infrequently. I have since order a water main valve and 8 sensors from Sedna Sorry

Device works accurately and web service very good.

the devise keep losing Wifi connection. have to continue retrieving in order to reset it

I have had 2 sump pumps burn out in the last 2.5 years. I had water in my basement and vowed to put a sensor in to have me notice it fast if it should happen again.

I was awakened at 2:30 am with a sound I couldn't find then looked at my phone and it told me I had a water leak under my kitchen sink. So glad to find it so quickly. I've ordered more devices for my house.

It is very simple to set up and it works - every time!

received kit ok. not user friendly for setup. but finally got systems on line. thenfound in needed extension boosters for home network for locations of sensors. then took about two weeks before data sharing was recognized by my insurance company. had to reset sensor multiple times before they would report info. not happy. roi is 3 + years on cost.

Easy install. Easy to add to WiFi. Love that the entire cable lenght is a detector (not just the tip).

The water leak and freeze sensor was very easy to install and connect to the Resideo app. The sensor shows up along with my Total Connect Comfort thermostat. I like that the sensor displays the remaining battery life in the app. I have tested the leak detector and it works as expected.

The unit was easy to install and configure. The mobile App is easy to navigate and understand.

My purchase of the leak detector was primarly for our winter home that is unoccupied for roughly six months out of the year. I can not tell how this device has goven me peace of mind telling me that the water heater and sump pump have no issues while I'm away. I'm not only assured that i will get instant allert on my phone of there is an issue, but i am also able to check using the app any time i want.

Sensor does not stay connected to the network. Drops connection every other day.

You MUST use a password or Finger ID on Iphones. I refused to do that. I returned all of mine that I purchased

The device was easy to set up and seems to be working fine. It provides a daily indicator of temp and humidity in the area where it stays. I really love the product.

This unit stopped working after about a week. I changed batteries three times and still won’t work.

On my second unit. First one would not pair using my iphone 10 which is up to date. I already had the Resideo app for my Thermostat and that has, knock on wood, worked fine for over a year. Support said defective unit and sent a new one. Second one would not pair and called Support once again and they suggested I install the app on a tablet. Set up the device on my ipad 10 which then did sync with the app on my phone. Thinking I'm in business I tested the unit by putting the cord in a glass of water. Sure enough, get alerts and I silence the alarm through the app. TODAY my detector is still flashing the red light and I can't seem to clear the "leak detected" notification. Removed batteries, used paper clip to try to reset but leak notification persisted. Finally found a tip online to go to the app settings and "Activity History" to clear the notification. Unfortunately, the "Leak Detected" notification still appears on the app and I don't know if my detector is 'active' or not. On the phone, again, with Support and numerous 'holds' as they try to answer my questions on how to reset the device. They told me to reinstall (re-pair) the device and I did, and it worked and the first one along with the leak notification disappeared from the app. Whew. BUT... HOW to reset the device AFTER a detection, and how to clear the leak notification on the app? After 57 minutes on the phone on just this last call, still no answer as to resetting the device but she did say there is no way to clear the leak notification from the app (what???). I have little confidence in this device.

Bought 4 unit on the recommendation of a friend. The temp and humidity measurements are insightful. However the app does not let you query the units in real time. You might have readings that are 12 hours old. The false alarm rate is much higher than we expected: 3 in one day. The false alarms are resolved within 20 minutes but with the multiple notification paths, it causes some stress that our home is flooding

The unit works fine once I did alot of time talking to resido whom is not customer friendly ,, wish honeywell had kept the unit and service

Really easy to set up. In addition to warnings about water leak being present , it also measures humidity without an actual alarm. The only problem I have is once water has been detected and the alarm sounds, I can't shut off the alarm. I have to detach the sensor and dry the the instrument to stop the alarm. Other than this the detector works well.
