very difficult to program where as Nest that I had before was much easier

Looks nice and fancy but thermostat not chow when cool is Is on like other thermostat but so far is doing ok.

setup was quick, easy to attach via your wifi, unit is easy to read. i use the schedule function but am still tweaking and have not used the multi room function other than to place the accessory monitor in an adjacent room that does not have adequate airflow to measure how much difference in temperature there is. i replaced an earlier Honeywell unit, tradition style, and this unit if far more sensitive than my previous version. All in all i am pleased, while still feeling it's a little pricey for what it is but checks all the boxes for me.

Great idea but I couldn’t install it. We are away from this residence for months and wanted to control the temperature remotely.

The T9 thermostat is easy to install and setup. With the Resideo app you can remotely control the temperature of your home to suit your comfort. Has a huge and bright display screen. Temperature sensors can be added to control the temperature in any chosen room.

I have a new T9 thermostat but I live in the UK and would like a wiring diagram with more detail than what is in the product book as it’s really not the best.

First i love the convenience of being able to modify my thermostat setting feom my cellphone. This is a game changer for me. However, as i continue to learn my thermostat, I'm sure I will discover other great features that are available.

App / integration ecosystem is really crappy. I thought I was buying a Honeywell product but apparently it's actually residio and residio doesn't actually really integrate well with anything... I wish this was more clear in my research before I bought this. It seems to be entirely incapable of actually recording when the thermostat is on. It seems like they built this thing without any sort of internal battery and it just doesn't even stay on long enough to record any settings? I don't know. It doesn't make very clear what's going on or anything and... I'm actually planning to put the older thermostat back in soon just because it's more predictable.

It has made my furnace opperate more efficently my home is heated more eavenly than it has ever been i love it.

The T9 thermostat. I love the GO fencing and the second sensor in the cold room works perfect to balance the house out.

While I am satisfied with the product as a hole, I cannot understand why a design feature has failed, why support only offers circular reasoning, and they cannot fix the issue. The feature that can send an email if an under/over temp or humidity problem exists, sends that email, using a light gray font on a white background that can barely be read indoors and completely impossible outdoors. Support says that cannot be fixed. Perhaps they should discontinue that feature altogether as it is useless. If this is not important to anyone, then the T9 is a good choice.

Constantly goes into registration mode. Disconnecting, and resetting to factory defaults doesn’t help. The iOS app can’t connect to the thermostat, and repeatedly displays registration error.

Easy-to-use thermostat that has a lot of features and capabilities including the addition of remote temperature and humidity sensors to help balance the temperature throughout the home when selected. It works very well to achieve a balanced average temperature throughout the home. It, however, lacks the ability to retain some settings (which should probably be programming) on an on-going basis with each programmed interval- e.g., when selecting rooms with remote sensors to include in the temperature balance throughout the home, the selected rooms only remain selected until the next interval or time that you manually set. The same applies to the fan settings- e.g., if you select "circulate", it reverts back to your default selection of "on" or "auto" at the next programmed interval or time that you manually set. If would be a very convenient feature to have these settings be able to be set and retained so that the user does not need to reset them every time a scheduled interval occurs. Perhaps a future firmware update could include such capabilities? If it is currently possible to have these setting retained interval to interval, I could not find supporting documentation.

The resideo app could use some work. Only allows up to 5 periods. Should be able to rename and or delete the home and sleep periods

Purchased 2 T9's and 3 sensors. T1 installed on first floor along with sensor 1. This combination appears to work well. Sensor 1 is set by default to control room temperature. Thermostat 2 (upstais hallway) along with sensor 2(master bedroom) and sensor 3 (front bedroom) combination does not work as well. The sensors appear lazy. Takes a long time to change temerature. I've gone so far as to remove from wall and place over vent and after 5 minutes the temperature did not change (monitored on app and thermostat). Did same with other sensor and same result. What does this mean? It means my ac unit runs forever. Another thing: if set to 76 and temperature is 76, it energizes ac unit. Display reads "cooling to 76". Why? My other thermostats did not cool or heat until temperature reached +/- 2 degrees of set temperature. I don't know if these are faulty but there sure to increase my bill (no bueno) Btw, how does one know the latest firmware? For example thermostat 1 firmware is 01.03.08.86, whereas thermostat 2 firmware is 01.03.08.2A. I also note that firware on sensor 1 and 2 is 1.0.6.0 but 1.0.3.9 for sensor 3. A little guidance is appreciated, otherwise i may have to return or resell these due to performance inconsistencies. I must also say these look great, program easy and also easy to install. This device is not smart enough. Only reason I purchased it because my system has a 'K' wire and Google thermostat (which is truly smart) wasn't compatible and Nest Pro person was charging me fortune to get the wiring fixed. Also, I just had to replace my non-smart manual Honeywell thermostat with T9 keeping the same base plate. Initially I thought I found Google's rival but alas. First of all, the screen remains ON all the time. There is no way you can turn it off. Next, added my spouse as another user but if I leave the house it doesn't recognize that my spouse is still home and goes into 'away' mode. Next, for unknown reasons app can't show HVAC runtime for last 3 days. Lastly, I cannot run the fan to circulate the air. It runs only when system is running. App has the setting to keep fan on circulate or ON mode but it doesn't work. So please don't call it a smart thermostat rather call it WiFi thermostat.

Easy to install and no problem to configure, owner satisfied

This upgraded my original thermostat and gave me Wi-Fi capability and remote access which is what I was looking for. Fairly easy DIY and technical support was available with any questions I had.

This Honeywell WiFi thermostat works great! It is easy to control from the unit or the app. Best of all you can use the small temperature sensors to help even out the temperature of your whole house. These temperature gages allow your furnace to heat and cool rooms like a more expensive zoned furnace. Best of all it saves you money on heating and cooling costs.

I purchased two new HVAC units and requested the new upgraded T9 wifi thermostats controlled on an app. When im away I will be able to control the entire house with the App. Right out of the box you can see the quality. Installing them was a breeze. Programming wasn't so quick. There is an installer and homeowner app. Pick the right one. Next, once you have your account set up, programming each sensor and how to use the App wasn't as straightforward even for the installer without the guidance of customer service. Great help but it should've been simplier. Once the Thermostat is setup each sensor links to the Thermostat. Would it be nice to see each rooms temp on the front screen of the app or Thermostat vs going to "priority" which is a section of the app to see each rooms temp? I'd say so. Its easy to schedule the thermostat and temps of each room. If you have a split system like i do, if a guest is staying in one room or part of the house you can make that room a priority instead of the hallway for example where the Thermostat is located. Without getting out of bed or being home you can monitor and ensure your guests are comfortable. Cost? Well i have a sensor in each bedroom/room which seemed very affodable buying in packs of 2. Overall i gave it 4 stars for lack of better instructions and use on the app. But overall you will be happy with it.

works as expected. Like the convenience and using the app to control the settings. The installation was easy, using the C-wire adapter require some basic skills of rewiring.

I love my new thermostat. I was able to put it on myself and I’m not an electrician. I put a new wiring through the wall from the furnace to the thermostat connected It, turned back on the power and was ready to go.

An excellent smart thermostat with remote sensor capability. I have 5 remote sensors in my home which allows me better control of which room is comfortable at certain times of day. For instance I can keep the bedroom comfortable at night rather than rely on a thermostat downstairs. The app could be better, the current status can be several hours out of date.

Good product. Reliable. Easy to use and to program.

The device and some features are ok compared to Ecobee or Google Next, but it is not compatible with all systems, and crazy enough, if you have an AC and Heating system, it only seeks the C-wire coming out of your AC. I have all my C-wires coming out of my heating system. It goes blank every time I connect my AC to it - Unfortunately, that is not written anywhere clearly, and I had to learn from the experience after investing a ton of money on what should be a simple swap job from my old, not smart Honeywell device - save yourself some time and money and get something else.

I am floored at how easy this was to install. This was such a great buy, easy to use, super convenient.

Since I did not have a C connector I had to use the help line. I was well informed and finally everything works fine! Make sure that your power supply is MIN 24 volts. 23.8 v doesn’t work!!!
