The moulding fit well. It was extremely easy to use. It looks good.

The MDF is well primed and easy to cut while having a nice appearance. Painting with a roller is a little difficult for the deep part of the groove unless you have secured the rail to something. The slot for the beadboard is deep enough to cover most-any angling that you'll need to make.

The beadboard that Home Depot sells is a lot thinner then the molding overlap so be prepared for s lot of chalking. I found this lack of a match typical for Home Depot. It's like no one in the buying office showed any interest with the product compatibility

I needed chair rail for my dinning room but I wanted something that would look sit on the wainscot and look good. After doing some searching online I decided to try this product and it worked perfectly. Fits over the wainscot and dresses the room up very nicely

Ordered ~15 pieces for our two girls rooms. I was really impressed they delivered 8ft lengths. Make sure you order extra as some pieces were damaged (not sure if shipping or general stock handling) and mistakes are known to happen. Extra is easy to return to store. Copes easily and has great finished look. Recommend sanding the primed surface in full lengths, you won't regret it.

Needed this to replace old chair rail just can't understand why it's not available in store. But shipping is fairly quick and it arrived without any issues.

This arrived quickly and was packed very well. Each piece was sealed in a plastic wrapper and there was no damage at all. As far as installation, the railing looks great and was really easy to install.

Home depot shipped this item. Many of the ends were cracked and not useable. Very cheap product.

I installed this to cap off beadboard that I put in the bathroom. I think you can buy the basedboard, and beadboard to match this but I bought them all separately and it worked out fine. The nice thing about this is the notch at the bottom that overhangs the beadboard to hide and uneven cuts. It takes paint well and is easy to cut, I used a mitre saw. Be sure to cut it slowly or you'll risk tearing some chunks off the edge. I installed it with Power Grab adhesive. A couple of times I shot a brad in with the nail gun if it didn't stay flush to the wall. But that was my fault for standing these straight up for too long and they caved in a little bit. No big deal. This is a very simple design but looks good.

I had to order an additional piece of chair rail to finish the project. I don't know if the original order was not accurate or if my carpenter wasted too much material. However, it all looks great on my walls. The price was great as was the delivery--3 days via UPS. I would use this product again.

Although this is not real wood, you can't tell the difference once it is on the wall. It looks so great in the dining room I think I might do more rooms.

Great quality fit perfectly over Bead board that we bought from a different retailer (due to location.) its smooth and painted well. There were no inconsistencies from piece to piece very happy with this chair rail.

Only time will tell as far as its durabilility in a steamy bathroom.

This chair rail is a good product at a low price. The ends will split on you if you aren't careful. I wish is dado on the back was smaller.

This chair rail is similar to what we have in our home and it was the finishing touch for the wainscot that we installed in our bathroom. Has the nice feature of having the groove cut so the chair rail sits over the wainscot to hide the unfinished edge perfectly. All that was left was to fill in the nail holes and throw on a couple of coats of paint and you're done.

I looked in the HD store and the wainscoting product they had available was poor. I found these at HD.com and was very happy with the quality. Definitely better than what they carry in the store.

This is my first MDF product. I didn't know how it would do with cutting and nailing No need to fear, his product was just what I wanted. It had the lip that fit over my wainscotting. It was easy to work with. I didn't know if it would hold up to a nail gun, but it did great. No splintering, no . . . nothing!!! I loved it and would buy it again in a heart beat. It painted easily also.

This chair rail is pretty good quality and works great with the House of Fara wainscot panels. The finish was smooth and took paint very well. It is MDF, so was a bit more flexible when applying to uneven wall and is very lightweight. Overall, not a bad choice.

Delivery was in about a week so for free shipping i was thrilled!

This trim cuts and installs very easily. It looks good as is, and even better painted.

It was hard to find a notched chair rail to fit over wainscot panels, so this was the only option in my price range. The price was fine for what it is, but the fibrous material is very flimsy. I'm afraid to touch a chair to it, in case it crushes it. I painted the pieces before installing, and several small drips of paint made the rail stick to the surface on which I'd set them to dry. The paint was stronger than the MDF, leading to the product ripping and shredding when I gently tried to separate it from the tabletop. Solid wood trim is always best!
