Disappointed
After just a couple years, this fan has lost it's high speed, and produces a loud hum, which is very annoying and gave both hub and I headaches.
Makes me sad, because it's a beautiful fan, and Hunter used to produce great fans.
Very disappointed in this product!

Avoid This Product
Two of the three we bought had bad motors, one failed just outside the warranty period. Though it is an attractive fan, company support is POOR. After a mishap with the glass, we discovered replacement involved purchasing an entire light-kit from the manufacturer at 2/3 the cost of a new fan. All we need is glass, the remainder would go to the landfill. 3rd party suppliers do not stock for the Antero. Plannned Obsolescence = Profit, but a lost customer.

Nice looking fan at good price. Heads up for installer - read instructions first or suffer the consequences!
This is my 14th Hunter fan over the years and 2 houses. Quiet, efficient performance that lasts many, many years. Definitely recommend the Hunter name.

Perfect! Bought two of these for smaller bedrooms in my home. They are a bit more modern than most, which is why I love them and they fit the farmhouse style of the rooms. My son was able to install them by himself, which was an added bonus.

Motor audibly hums
Overall this fan is nice and a great value. The motor does put off a bit of a hum. More than any other fans we own. It doesn’t sound broken, just how it is. This could be a plus if you’re looking for white noise. You may hate it if this sort of thing keeps you awake at night. The hum is louder at higher speeds.

Fans Hum
I purchased 3 fans. They all hum. I made several calls to Hunter Customer Service. They have no idea how to fix the problem. They did not care about the problem. They sent me a new fan. It also hums. I paid to install/reinstall all fans. I cannot use the bedroom fan. It is too loud. I thought Hunter was a good company. My last home had another brand fan. They did not hum.
