Meets our needs; compact and effective

Works as advertised, good for inflation, hobby (wood working, painting) and automotive type projects. However, if you are looking for more air volume and less run time (quieter) pick a good two stage stationary compressor with a 60 or better gallon tank, I suggest 80 gallons as this one would leave you hanging. Husky needs to make this one with a 30 gallon tank and a 2HP or better oil-less motor.

Bought this unit in early January. Ran good until December when the piston arm broke off. Unit running wildly was a good clue until I took the unit apart. Husky warranty ph# 888-434-8759 made me wait for 10 min in a queue before hanging up on me.

It’s quite! It takes along time to build air pressure and doesn’t shut off when it builds enough pressure. Can’t find any leaks.

Definitely husky is no longer what it used to be… husky Products that come out of Home Depot have a useful life of no more than 90 days. Pump/tank connector started leaking air after 60 days and as a result, the pump cannot fill the tank. Garbage

This is a very poor compressor, only used a few times in 21/2 years. The motor got very hot and started smoking so I shut off compressor and called Husky, just got a sad story from them, buyer beware of husky tools.

for being a numatic it runs a lot quieter than the older numatic we have. we needed the higher pressure to turn a harmonic balancer bolt on a car, before it was at full pressure, it turned the bolt with ease.

Engine blew up after 15 uses, smoked out entire garage.

Bought this one just over a year ago. Used maybe a half dozen times to fill tires, air gun for cleaning parts. Maybe 2 hrs total run time total. Was filling up a car tire yesterday and the pump stopped. Smelled like burning plastic...you could see inside the vent cover that the plastic cooling fan was melted off the shaft. No problem, I say to myself. It came with a 2 year warranty. Take it to the store I purchased it, as instructed by Husky's warranty policy. Store said they couldn't take it back because it was a year ago and they don't have tool rental at the store?! They call nearest store that has tool rental services and tell me to head out there. When I get there, I'm told I have to pay a $30 diagnostic fee (not indicated on warranty). They'll check it out in a "week or so" and get back to me. If they determine that it is covered, I'll get my $30.00 back with my unit repaired. Can't wait to hear the basis for denying warranty claim. "Commercial use"? "Abuse"? Not very happy.

This is a super reliable and powerful compressor upgraded from its older version!

Had an air leak coming out of the nipple for the regulator assembly. Fixed it myself. Everything else works great.

Excellent straight out of the box!

Keeps the pressure up when you’re painting

Came fully assembled. Does what it should as a small home compressor with some extra capacity.
