Buyers beware if you want to link these units together. The end frames can be different heights which throws the shelves into an angle and not level. I am stuck with one oddball out of five. A bit disappointed. All the units were purchased within a few months of each other.

I bought several of this same product code 4 years ago. These shelves have drastically changed in quality control and durability. I bought two of these shelves a few days ago and opened them to find multiple load bearing struts bent and the metal is markedly thinner than the previous iterations. Not only that, the entire frame is thinner despite being advertised as the same product as before. Needs better Quality Control!

We purchased several from the store months ago, and needed one more this week. Ordered online, then picked it up. To our dislike, we were loaded a waterlogged and moldy box. Inside we found rusted metal and paint chips. See photos for water damage and rust. We purchased a dozen of these 6 foot ones a few years ago and love them, but this new model with the straight support bars are not as sturdy. Too bad quality had gone downhill from a couple years ago.

We purchased a dozen two years ago, they were awesome, the metal was sturdy, the packaging was good, the horizontal bars had molding made them very sturdy, wire mesh that went across to hold stuff is silver, metal. Excellent quality. This week we added one more to the warehouse, what a downgrade! Cheap metal, the horizontal bars are not strong, won't hold as much weight, the wire mesh is black and not silver metal. My hands were black after putting it together. Not impressed with the quality!!

Love this shelf, heavy duty, everything was in great shape in box and very easy to assemble, no tools needed. Took me about 40 minutes to assemble.

These shelves work and are sturdy for the price. However, they come in a box with no individual wrapping or protection leaving all the pieces badly scratched. If you don’t care about aesthetics buy this shelf otherwise steer clear… Pictures below:

I love the shelves. Beautifully well made. Here's the problem, they come with ZERO protective packing. End result, scratched, dented and scraped. Edsal the manufacturer's remedy is to send me a can of spray paint.

As some other reviews mentioned there were a number of large scuffs, scratches, and chips. There is NO packing material inside the box so the metal is free to move around and rub against one another. The metal is a bit thinner than I was expecting, thinner than the Kobalt shelving and NSF shelving I also have. Instructions were partially destroyed by rodents and had a fair bit of mouse poop and a mouse nest inside the box. Lovely.

Beware. I purchased 2 shelving units from the store. When I unboxed them both units were damaged. I couldn’t put either one together.3 of 4 vertical supports were damaged beyond repair and 7 of the horizontal beams were also damaged. Plus almost every piece has a places where the power coating was rubbed off. I tried to return them, the store said I had to contact the manufacturer for parts. It’s been over a week now and I’m still going back and forth with them manufacturer. They will replace the 3 vertical pieces but only 2 of the horizontal beams and told me to get some touch up paint for the shelves. I’m frustrated I’m asking them to send paint. But this is sad. I just wanted the quality product I paid for and clearly I won’t be getting it. FYI Home Depot is a 2 hour round trip away. Went there just for this. The store said they can’t do anything.

Terrible flimsy metal. When I opened my package I noticed the metal was warped on the uprights. Cheap metal for the price it's not worth the headache.

had tough time getting the cross bars to fit. 4 on the back side, as I got to the top the first cross bar I chose seemed short. measured it and several others all the same. removed the next bars done from top and was able to get the top bar on. Had to fight the to reinstall the removed bars, but they went in. The front 4 cross bars where another story. No matter if I tried bottom to top, or top to bottom I could not get the middle in, 1 bar seemed short though it was exact same as others. I had to use a ratchet strap to get that bar in

I had to return these because the side frames were bent and the powder coat was very chipped and scratched. They don’t pack these with spacers to protect them. I checked the others still for sale and they all had the same problem. Don’t buy unless you don’t care about how they look and don’t mind bend then frames back into shape.

I decided to spend a little more and go with a name brand. Nearly every piece is scratched, scuffed or has missing paint. It still serve it's purpose, but come on. Does anyone have quality control anymore?

Very easy to put together, all that is needed is a rubber mallet. One beam was short, so had to wait until the correct part was sent to me. At least it gave me the chance to check out their customer service. Sent an email with some images of the issue. A week later the correct part was at my door. Will definitely keep this company in mind when needed storage.

Bought two of them to put side by side in the garage. Easy to assemble and very strong and heavy. They'll last a lifetime I'm sure. Very worthy purchase. Photo shows unit partially built so you can see how it goes up.

I bought this item a few days ago. I finally assembled it last night. Upon completion, I noticed the last piece of the red metal shelf was missing one crucial hole for the black bracket. I already tossed the box. I tried to return the one malfunction piece, but the mgr told me to take the shelf apart, return the entire items, & get a new box. I tried to tell him it would be a hassle to take it apart, return it w/o the box, get a new item, & reassemble. Why not switch out the 1 item from new box.

The item seems decent quality but the packages is terrible. There is no foam or any time of protection in the box. The item came damaged with tons of scratches all over it.

Last night I purchased a couple of shelving units. When installing my first I found one beam too short to install. I emailed their support, guess ill see how good they are

Very sturdy unit. No tools needed to put it together. High quality. I got the Red ones and they look great.

Realiy bad finish quality for the price. You’d think thay husky would have a better quality control team. If you don’t have a good set of pliers you wont be able to assamble this. A lot of the eyelid clips werent fully out so i had to pry them fully open and one of the racks was missing the hole where the support goes.

I purchased the black shelves and when opening the box Part A was damaged and dented right in the middle. I was still able to assemble with 2 shelves and couldn’t add any to the middle due to dent and misalignment. I notified Home Depot and the manager made it right by exchanging for the part that was damaged. Everything seems to be in working condition now.

Right out of the box one of our two shelves had a bad/broken weld. The welds in general are poorly done and won’t stand up to much. I’m disappointed and returning them for better quality.

We just relocated, and we needed to set up some long term storage for our needs. I was planning on buying the 5 shelf design at the time for $159 but opted for the larger unit @ $249 as of time of writing. This thing seems flimsy but strong, mostly by the gauge of steel used, but engineered in a way that should be more than plenty strong for most applications. Like many others, I have issues with the finish, where the powder coat is worn off or scratched, brand new out of the box.

Calling these industrial is really a stretch. Don't like these joints. Plus I got it home and cut the shipping bands only to find I got an item that was previously assembled (and presumably returned and repackaged). Duped. It was all chipped up and bent but not bad enough to make me drag that huge box back upstairs. I plan to take my photos to HD tomorrow and ask how they plan to make it right.

I bought three of this, but I made 4 shelves because I used floor as bottom shelf and shared vertical support rack as shown by photos that I uploaded, easy to install, very sturdy and helps a lot to organize my garage. Highly recommend

The product is great, assembly is easy and the final product looks very sturdy and has tons of usable space. The big issue is the packaging is very very poor and there are scratches in many of the parts. This is priced high enough to grant better packing materials and procedures.

I bought husky industrial shelves several years ago and loved them. I bought a few more and they are not built the same, i do not trust them.
