Dont waste your money, this is very cheap very thin aluminum like foil that gets holes in it for some reason. Did not last a year. Hundreds and hundreds of pinholes was the reason we could not control humidity. See pictures.

This was more than enough to reach cathedral ceilings to roof vent. Easy to expand and fit the bath fan fitting. I was going to Hvac tape this to the new fan IR heater, but the 2 clamps fit so nice I went with the provided clamps. Bug proof your fans just a simple 90 degree up a foot above the insulation and nothing gets in. You could put a Nylon stocking over the end but bugs cant grab onto the aluminum so a turn up fixes that problem Low cost 2 clamps and

This ducting satisfied every requirement I expected of it.

It was undersized and would not fit on a std. dryer fitting.

Added a return duct in my basement. This product worked great. I had to cut a hole in my wall and then in my main return duct (because my basement did not have a return duct) I only needed about 30" of ducting. This worked perfect for what I needed. I did not cut the ducting, The only reason I did not get it 5 stars is because it can tear very easily, so be careful with fitting this onto a register or vent. This product works vey well for what I need it for. Our estimate for a contractor to add this to our HVAC wanted $1800.00, I did it myself for abaout $150. And now my house is warmer during the winter and cooler during the summer on our second floor.
